Do you have a favorite time of the day?

Mine is night. It is quiet and a reflective time for me. My next favorite period is afternoon between 12 and 3. I like the angle of the sun rays.
These times of day just have good vibes, it has nothing to do with activities, routines, or tasks for me.

I've always been a morning person. I have the most energy in the morning and my focus is the best. In the summer, I love going on walks early in the morning.

My favourite time of day depends on the day and how productive I've already been.

A work day? 5-8pm is gold. I'm free from work but it also feels like there is enough of the day left to do something with.

A day off? I like being awake early so I've still most of the day left, and being productive during that time so I can get to 10-11am and still feel I've plenty of time to relax. Early afternoon is always nice, late afternoon I start to stress about the day getting on. Then early evening is always pleasant as it is a good time for socialising, having a drink, or engaging in hobbies if I'm alone.

Huh. I guess early evening is the overall winner!

I don’t have a favorite? I tend to prefer when my grandma is at work, though, which seems to be between 12:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

I also work those same hours, so I can pretty much avoid her the whole day if I work on her days off. Night hasn’t been nice to me lately because she has hearing aids, so she listens to the rosary and Trump videos at very high volumes at night while she sleeps, so I’m unable to sleep as well as I’d like. Thankfully, my AirPods have noise cancellation, so I’m able to drown it out. The only downside is that I only wear one to bed, so the other ear is always exposed.

I’m not religious and I don’t want to hear how terrible trans people are. I’ll stop it here before this goes even more off-topic. Sorry.

I like early mornings and late nights when everything’s quiet and no one’s around.

Don't really have a favorite. I have an inconsistent schedule and things could be good or bad at any point of the day for me. I guess I'm less likely to be unhappy when certain people are asleep but that's also when I am lonely.

My favorite time of day is around 7-9 PM, particularly in the DST times of the year. The sun is setting, but it's not dark yet. It's cool and comfortable (I wish more outdoor activities were scheduled after 5 PM...) with relaxing sounds of evening bugs and birds. Work and chores are typically done by this time, so it's usually time to relax with a coffee and settle in for the night. I find the 8 PM music from Animal Crossing New Leaf fits the general feel of this time frame so well.

It’s complicated.

The easy answer would be night. I’ve always been a night owl, it’s when I feel most awake, productive, and calm. But it’s also lonely and bad for physical and mental health alike. I’ve been nocturnal as a coping mechanism for depression, and it really helped at the time but it is not great in the long run.

I love the vibe of mornings, but being a night owl it’s extremely hard to get up early.

One thing’s for certain: the late afternoon is the worst part of the day for me. 3-6pm-ish. The sunlight is off. Especially in the winter, 4pm is horrible, too dark to use the windows but to bright to turn the lights on. Would not recommend taking a class at this time at all.

TLDR: anytime but 3-6pm ish.

I like night, especially when everybody is asleep, it's finally quiet. I like sunset too, when the sun is not too bright.

Night because I naturally tend to fall into a sleep pattern where it's often difficult for me to sleep then. It seems easiest to fall asleep right before the sun comes up then sleep through the morning and maybe early afternoon. If I ever have to be awake during morning I have a really hard time. Anyway evening/night just seem to be when I'm at my best, and it's often quieter and easy to focus around then so that's nice. Thankfully I'm able to work my lifestyle around this for the most part. Interesting to see there are many other night owls here.
