What is the appeal of Merengue? (Thinking about cycling her out)

I started up a new town and notice i have her, (I check the novelty of all my villagers) and she's popular. She's a rhino nurse it looks like (I guess) She's not too cool looking, and kind of bulky..

So what I'm asking is, if you like her.. Why is that? What can I do to start liking her (if it's possible haha) I'm just curious, s he was on my list to cycle out along with pietro but her house is positioned in a spot that won't get in the way of paths and she's in my desired villager spots. (So im not in a rush to get her out)

I'm simply curious.

ahhh well I personally like her bc her colors are pleasing to me, but she's also based off of food, which adds to the whole cuteness thing, but idk ive never actually had her so maybe her personality is awful or shes boring its all about aesthetic i suppose.

I'm not a fan of Merengue, I just don't like the big bulky villagers, no feature can make them cute in my eyes. But I do see why some people like her. It's probably because she's caked themed, which makes her unique. Plus she has a clever design with the whole strawberry horn thing. c:

She's a walking cake and her house is a bakery (I try not to think about the implications). I don't need her in my town, but I'd be happy to have her as one of my villagers!

I can see why people like her, but honestly I don't like her. I don't like any of the rhinos and for some reason the fact that her horn is a strawberry disturbs me. Her whole appearance disturbs me, actually.

And what's wrong with being bulky?

I love her because she's adorable cake! and she's more unique than most. (Also a reason I like julian)

I love Merengue's design! So cute and unique :3. I had her in my old town and transferred her to my new town too. She's such a sweetheart~ She lives right next door to my mayors house.

But everyone has different personal taste, so yeah..

i love her design, she's literally a walking cake! her horn also has a strawberry on it c:
she really fits the nice personality as she is so sweet!
her house is also a cafe/bakery so they really tied in the theme of a chef with her!

Haven't got Merengue, but would keep her if I got her - she's cute. Name, house & looks fit together nicely.
I do have Tia - (elephant) who is similar in respect that name, looks (head is a tea pot, her trunk being the spout) & house (I think, can't remember) are all based on tea. Both are normal personalities.

I don't think she's cute, but I know she's very popular. I don't know... People like what they like. I love cake, so you would think I'd like her. LOL

I just her for my town ^_^ She's just well designed--the cake theme is cute, her house is a bakery, and both she and her house are in nice pastel colors.

I like her color scheme, and I mean, she's a rhino made of cake so that is pretty awesome. xD
I had her in my town before, and I ended up cycling her out. I didn't really have that much of an attachment to her.
I would often forget to visit her, to do the things she wanted me to. I simply didn't really care about her,
Idk, don't get me wrong she's super adorbs, but we never clicked. lol
