What is a reasonable amount of NMTs for this villager?

Diana is leaving and I want to auction her to somebody. I'm not sure what a good amount of NMTs are. I don't want to trade her for hundreds of NMTs because that seems greedy but I do want some so that the person that gets Diana and me both benefit from the trade. What do you think would be a reasonable amount? I set the starting price at 15NMT but is that to low? or to high? I know diana is popular

I think 15 NMT is a reasonable starting point. I would say you could get up to 50 NMTs for her, it all depends on the current interest when you are posting.

I think the lowest could be 20-30 NMT , and biggest could be 100 NMT

this is based on what I have seen from trades.

You can use the search bar function and put "diana auction". It'll show you recent auctions and what the price was. From a quick look at 6 topics, it looks like she went between 10-30 tickets.

You may also want to consider the absolute lowest price you're willing to let Diana go for and set that as your starting price (or go just below). Even if other auctions have gone for 10 NMT, if you're not willing to let her go for any less than 15 NMT, it may not be in your interest to set the starting price at 10 NMT to see that only one person bids, forcing you to sell her at 10.

15 NMT is a good start point. I personally rather give away my villagers and you can find someone who is going to give her a good home, but I completly understand selling her!

The reason I'm selling her is because I really love going to the islands and meeting new villagers. I feel so bad selling her as it seems mean and I do worry she won't get a loving home. But hopefully all goes well

Ofc! I completly understand, I just read your post wrongly and took in as you didnt want to give her away bc you were scared of someone taking advantage of you. I know I went on a tangent but I'm kind sleepy and tired

I think 10-15 NMT is a good starting bid. If you're worried about not receiving high enough offers, it probably isn't a good idea to set up an auction. (Make a selling thread and haggle for offers instead.)

If you’re looking for a loving home I’d suggest just prowling signatures in Nook’s Cranny or New Neighbor. I do this to find someone specific who has the villager as a dreamie then I just gift it to them.
