what if npcs were villagers?

What would be better, I think, is if instead of a town full of NPC villagers, if you still have regular villagers but you can visit NPC villagers' homes too. Like if each NPC had times where they weren't working and could be home or walking around your town.

I mean, where do the NPCs live anyway? Do they live somewhere else and commute to work everyday? Feels weird.

something i'm working on in mistvale is turning all four of my museum rooms upstairs into little apartments for my favorite npcs (celeste and blathers ofc get rooms there because its the museum, and i'm thinking i'll do a brewster room next and the fourth room will be for sable)

As Isabelle is always working I think her house would be full of boxes (some empty and some full) with the paw print wallpaper she gives to you at the start. In the middle of it all would be her desk with a big pile of books and papers on and a lot of notes and corkboards on the walls.

And truthfully, when I first got ACNL a few years ago and didn't really know much about it, I had thought Reese was a villager since she was on the front cover and I had been so excited fdasfewfs only to find out that she is not haha
