What Hybrids do you have the most trouble with?

Blue roses don't count, because those are a pain for everyone. Anyways... Everyone, I assume, has that one hybrid they like to use in their towns, but they always end up never growing for us. What is it? I'm curious!


For me, it's purple tulips. My orange tulip pairs never want to grow any for me, yet black lilies grow like weeds for me.

Me, it's the pink tulips, they're so hard to get! I actually kinda gave up on them...

It's possible you bought hacked hybrids. Hacked flowers seem to have false data tied to them that prevents them from breeding proper hybrid offspring.

I got them all fairly quickly.
Possibly the purple pansies.
Though getting the red hybrids were easy, and it only took a few days to get purple.

I've never been able to breed a blue rose myself, I think it's because of the weird hybrid red rose thing that you need in order to get a blue rose. I tried following the instructions many times but it never worked out for me. Maybe I'm just unlucky or something. Eventually I just gave up and bought them off here

Anyway, then I'd say gold roses as I have the beautiful town ordinance so if I want to breed them I have to change the town ordinance, wait a couple days and then change it back...

I can give you two (legit and breed-able) blue pansies for free. Purple though, no.

I've had the most trouble with black flowers in general if blue roses don't count. I have three black roses and I water them every day but they haven't produced any offspring so far.

I think black anything really?? I'm not sure of the logisitics of hybrids so maybe it's normal for them to be harder to grow than others, esp if they're more rare for a particular type of flower? Regardless, they're always really difficult for me. Black tulips grow the fastest out of all the black ones, I think.

Purple Pansies would definitely have been the long for me, I still don't have any. I've finally gotten White Carnations to spawn after a long time coming, and I've been able to get roses of each color as well. The worst part is I could have purple pansies somewhere on my map and I would have a hard time telling simply because I'm partially blue blind, so it's difficult for me to tell my purples from my blues. I'd have to pick them up and see what their name is, instead of relying on what I see at first glance, heh.

Never got any purple pansies, still. If I remember correctly blue pansies was one, if not the first, hybrids I acquired.

At the moment, I'm getting more blue roses than pink, purple & even orange rose which is weird.

Pink lillies. So hard for me to grow them for some reason. I only just got my first one yesterday, after months of watering and planting red and white lillies.
Black cosmos, too, I still don’t have any. Been trying endlessly to get some, but it just doesn’t seem to work.
