It’s the same process as a regular amiibo. You still have to invite them 3 times if you want them to move in. If you just want their items you can scan them all at Harv’s to unlock all of the items at once.

The only minor difference I've noticed is that the sanrios often request you craft an item for them out of cardboard boxes, whereas regular villagers never have to me. So stock up on boxes if you plan on convincing them to move in.

How about If you have 10 villagers? Can you use one Sanrio amiibo to kick out one villager you want to move out? And have the Sanrio one you want to move in?

Scanning Sanrio amiibo at Harv's island is enough to get their items in your catalog to order, they don't each have to go into the campsite. Otherwise, they're exactly like normal amiibo, other than other players not being able to invite them to move in when they're in moving-out boxes.
