Actually the Wii U does not meet expectation in sales due to the continuous success with the 3DS as well as the lack of strong launch games. It's a beautiful console with a fantastic display, and I highly doubt you've even played it. Once Super Smash Bros comes out for the Wii U, I would not be surprised to see sales skyrocket. They haven't even released the best yet. I'm sure Nintendo has something up its sleeve for E3 this year.

Nintendoland is actually great if you play it with a friend. My girlfriend and I have a blast with it.
I say go for Mario Kart 8 for the free game.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Super Mario 3D Land
Pikmin 3
Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD
All are incredible and the first four can easily be considered the best in the series.

Rayman Legends, Pikmin 3, as well as Trine 2 for download. Also Wii Party U & Nintendoland are awesome, Nintendoland was my most played game for some time cause my friends and I couldn't stop with it. Wii Party U is also great but we've been playing MK8 so we've not had as much time to fool with it yet. It's like adult Mario Party if you ask me
Mario Kart 8 is amazing. New Super Mario Bros. Wii U is quite an easy game to beat;Super Luigi U is awesome..I haven't played Earthbound in English but I have played it in Japanese and,I could tell you it was not enjoyable since I'm not good a Japanese,but it has a good plot and everything.
Nintendoland is awesome! You should really get your hands on that game.
Lego City Undercover is not the greatest game in the world,but it's hilarious.
You should definitely get Super Smash Bros. Wii U once it comes out.
