Not much does but I think what excites a lot NH players is playing in a SH island, lol.

Every time I open my island, 95% of the time, the visitor will always ask if they can stay a bit longer.

Maybe look for someone with a SH island.

You are definitely correct I have been lucky to visit a couple of islands in winter and it is magical

Also in the process of adding small details. My town is actually really great looking in my opinion - I could probably just leave it as is, but I'm having fun just adding little touches every day.

I've been redoing my farm area. Still trying to get blue roses. That's the only flower I don't have and it's annoying - but there's still fun in trying to see each day if it's happened! I'm probably gonna reset my strategy and go with "Method 2" - it seems more difficult up front, but appears to increase the odds towards the end of the process.

I've also been working on custom designs - until a few weeks ago, I'd mostly ignored this feature. It's really fun! Especially when I upload them online and random people have liked it <3

This is my first Animal Crossing game, so everything is still very fresh for me!

• Catching new bugs, fish, and sea creatures every month
• Finishing up my second major round of changing up my island layout
• Gradually decorating my island, area by area
• I'm so excited for autumn, a season I'm not much of a fan of IRL
• Villager hunting
• I want to get into creating custom designs. I think I'll start with creating my island flag after my island layout is set in stone (for the time being)

Have you used the screenshot feature a lot? Try taking photos during different times of day under different conditions. The lighting/weather is beautiful in this game and I've a lot of fun snapping pictures of different villagers and spots around my own and others' island(s). You may enjoy it too!

honestly it's so embarrassing how fast my memory card filled up from the launch of game bc i keep taking dumb photos of my villagers or any small achievements (like getting their photos or something lmao). every now and again i'd have to go back and review the photos to free up space
