"Manliness" was created as this stupid macho "more of a man than thou" concept that drives men and boys into hating each other and themselves. IMO it's about damn time that it's reformed to include every man or masculine identifying person no matter what size he is, what shape he is, how he expresses his emotions, or what his hobbies and interests are.

Identifying as a man. I've never liked gender stereotypes. I'm a girl, I identify as a girl, I have a vagina, but I HATE feminine things. My boyfriend is a man, he identifies as a man, and he has a beard and a penis. But he isn't what my dad calls "manly."

I would define manliness as - if you identify as a male, then you're manly.
I don't really like stereotypes at all.
Whether you have facial hair or not, tattoos or not, piercings, play football/rugby, do ballet or gymnastics. Nothing can make any guy any more or less manly

Sadly whenever I hear the word "manly" I think of society's stereotypical definition for it (love sports, got muscles, etc). How I define it? I think it's not limited to one definition. It can be many things depending on a person's perspective of manly.
