What do you wish the update had included?

Hmmmm, this goes without saying but.. CHOOSE WHERE VILLAGERS MOVE!!
also, somewhat of a way to make sure villagers dont move, and as a tiny little addition i wouldve loved that gyroid that puffs smoke in the dream suite as a furniture item!!

PATTERN SPACE OMG. I wish we had HHD style pattern spaces. Ugghhhahhh.

Being able to move your character with the stylus like in HHD in your house. Also being able to center wall items. Wow that is low key irritating tbh.

Higher villager limit
More inventory/pattern space
Toolbox
Skin tones
Villagers actually donating to Public Works
Tracking villagers (has been hard to find them, since they ditched quadrants)

the ability to change your appearance and item centering like in hhd

More pattern space,
Villagers donate more to PWPs,
A ton more HHD features,
Higher villager limit (maybe up to 20),
Grass doesn't deteriorate at all and regrows very quickly if Beautiful Town Ordinance is enacted,
Villagers less likely to be in shops and the Museum,
Ability to design trousers (pants if you're American).

A way to change hair style and color easier... =n= I really hope the next opus will fix that.

DLC items not exclusive to just Japan...they always get cute things *_* also holy carp two ordinances would be AMAZING but that's probably not likely anytime soon.

Honestly, probably increasing chances of getting campers. Personally I feel like I've only had like two or three since the update came out, and I usually get more, despite not getting that many in the first place.

More space for custom designs, more customization options for furniture (for some pieces I like and think I can edit in a certain way), and more villager dialogue. Generally pretty happy with the update so far.

YES. Feels like Japan/Europe get better items sometimes than over here in the West. And I've had a dry spell with one of my campsites as well. Once, I didn't get a camper for over a month! Thought the thing was broken :o

Aaaaaaand as soon as I say that, Ankha shows up in my igloo the next day....the game is purposely messing with me, isn't it? I know it's random, but I swear, sometimes, it just sits in the back and goes 'muwahahaha....'

a more reliable way to get the PWP you want from your villagers. i've had to make the majority of my townsfolk cranky or normal just to ensure they're the ones recommending me PWP most frequently.

Definitely the ability to customize your mayor just like in HHD. I wouldn't have to time travel ever again if that was the case. Having to wait 3~5 weeks just to unlock hairstyles and eye colors is ridiculous. Same for skin color. If I want my mayor to have a tan, there's no need to waste time on the island for that. Just bring back the makeover machine!
MORE PATTERN SPACE. Having only 10 vs HHD where you had a TON is really starting to bother me.
More villager dialogue. Everyone feels so robotic saying the same things over and over.. I don't care if they reuse dialogue from the other 3 games, just add more dialogue so I can talk with them more often..
Bringing back old events would be neat. Like those sports events in the Gamecube version! It was fun kicking a ball around town.

To add to this..
Villager limit. There's SO many nice villagers(old and new + returning 50) and we can only have 10.. Increase it to at least 15, that's what the GameCube had and it still remains the largest in the entire series. And that's sad.

The ability to change villagers' carpets and wallpaper.... Some of them have the worst choices of flooring and wallpaper..

It's even worse that the N64 version also had 15 villagers. Yes, the N64 game has more villagers than the 3DS game (New Leaf)! They should just make it up to 20 villagers since that would be the max I could handle.

Exactly, believe it or not Wild World is some peoples favorite.... (Don't ask why..?) the villager max is... 8

Ah, yeah, forgot about Animal Forest(N64). I agree, it does make it worse.. The N64 had the storage of a potato yet the town is bigger than New Leaf. The 3ds cartridges are more than capable of handling 15~20 villagers. Smooth move, Ninty. Smooth move. u_u

Oh god no. I couldn't stand having 8. At least City Folk is 10 like NL so I'm already used to that. But 8?? Nope.
