Is your town a kingdom? A forest? A castle? A Pokemon city? A Zelda dungeon?

My town is just a peaceful town with the name Capucino and a big sign in the town hall saying "sorry guys the town form didn't have enough space to write in Cappuchino so we are stuck with Capucino"
Also ofc there is a lot of coffee but some reason all my villagers go to sleep super early lol

i want my town to to be half modern, half forest. with the modern side, i'm going for a lot of lights, illuminated pwps, etc. and with the forest side i have my little campground, as well as a small farm (scarecrow, windmill, well, apple trees).

Hmmn...

I'm not sure how I would summarize the plans I have for my town. It's definitely informed by FFIX, though.

My player and town names both come from that game and I chose some of my villagers accordingly. Pietro and Marcel are meant to mimic Zorn and Thorn, Sterling and Knox are meant to mimic Alexandria's knights, and Phoebe's there because Phoenixes are summons in the FF universe.

As far as the town's namesake goes... well, I wouldn't specifically say that I try to model my town after FFIX's Memoria (idk how you would anyway), but there are still some similarities. While my town doesn't come from a specific time or place, it is a holding ground for memories. I plan to build a lot of relic PWPs, like Stonehenge. There will also be a large library to help create this atmosphere. I also chose Ankha and Coco as villagers due to their connection with the past.

Well I just typed out a long reply to this and my lovely phone deleted it all....

Briefly then....my town isn't how I want it right now, I'm wanting to re do the whole thing in some sort of toy/fairytale theme. At the moment it's part zen part fairytale. Sort of have the town split into 2 for that to work.
Going to change it all though, but bored of it now. Mix and match. I think it's pretty relaxing....lots of flowers and bushes, clover and mushroom gardens

My town's name is Stardust so I want a lot of like celestial sort of stuff around town? Lots of illuminated PWPs, my main colors are pink, white, blue and purple. So just a basic cute town with villagers who are cute/fit the theme.

Ehhh, for Sapphire, I'm kinda going for a modern city kinda feel. I found a nice path and have planned out where I want all my PWPs. :P

Twilight is a pink magical girl town, with paths of moons and stars.

I love the whole idea I went for. It's something fresh and pastel. A lot of people tend to go for the pale/pastel theme, but I'm good with what I have.

Going from red to black to chocolate orange colored instead. Decided to embrace my town fruit and have flowers to match. Mostly black roses. Very elegant-themed. Hope it turns out well.

I want it to nature-y but not forest-y if that makes sense? So natural paths and lots of greenery but also a lot of room and development. I stay away from PWPs that look too modern like anything illuminated or that looks like it's made of metal. My colour scheme is blue and purple.

I love the idea of a themed town but unfortunately have never had an idea I actually want to make happen myself. I admire the efforts of others - some towns are just works of art. But I'm not sure I'll ever settle on something epic to make of my own.

So my towns are both quite natural, basically small villages that are randomly laid out with no pathways (except where the grass has faded as I run everywhere in my towns).

I'm not sure what I want for my town.

I mean, it won't really have a theme or anything, since I feel that would limit me a bit. But once I have all 10 villagers that I want, I'll actually start decorating. I have a general idea of what PWPs I want to use, and what flowers and all that stuff. I don't know..I just wanna be able to look at my town when I'm finished, and be happy with how it turned out.

I'm trying to make Lotus into an enchanted coven of witches. My original town doesn't have a theme, but maybe it's a kingdom where the princess has dark secrets because her basement is an occult den, and I imagine a kind of soap drama between the characters; one lives in the palace and the others have feelings about it.

And I just took over my SO's town, which I am turning into a woodland town of pandas and their friends, so it will have an eastern feel.

I have too many towns, I've realized. Even one town is a lot of work! But I couldn't let Peacity just sit there with no one to tend to it. None of them are even CLOSE to looking finished.

I want my town to embody America. So far I have separated my town into three different parts.
The top part is the North. It has city and industrial elements to it. I found street qr codes to make it more believable.
The middle part of my town is forest. I was mad when three of my villagers moved in there since it ruined the entire vibe I had going for it but whatevers. I plant all my cedars and shrooms there.
The other part is at the bottom and is the South, I added a lighthouse and scarecrow. I plant all my dandelions there to pretend to be cotton lol.

Honestly, don't know the theme. But I'm being typical and trying for a pastely town with zelda themed stuff. ♥

I want my town to be sparkly and shining. Like, having a mining district full of shiny gemstones, an area surrounded by sparkling waters, and glossy gem-toned paths that lead my town's way. For my ideal villagers, I want them pretty ones (imo) that look like they sparkle in your first impression. Though I find owning a Julian would be too obvious for this, I haven't considered getting him at all.

I'm basically trying to make my town a zen village. Kind of a serene getaway from the hustle and bustle. I'm far from achieving the goal, though, and I could use a Cranky. I used to have Tom, who gave me a zen PWP, but I need more.

My main town Vista has a zen like theme to it, I'm already done with this town. So I'm now working on my other towns: Chocolat and Moonview. Chocolat, I want to do a candy theme..but I really haven't found the perfect paths (and Town tune) yet.

My other town Moonview might not have a theme at all.

I haven't really thought about this, and I'm not even sure if I'll follow a theme. Like was said above, I feel going for a theme is a way to limit my creativity, but that's just me. I first want to get my 10 dreamies, and I think everything will flow from there.

This might also be because I like a lot of different themes and I don't know if I can put them all together, so I'll have a hard time deciding what to do, I can already tell. Fairytale and zen go together like ketchup and nutella, but I like them both a ton.

I want my town to be themed after the colour white - it's not failing but it's not exactly passing either. Mainly because there's too many PWPs that I like but I know don't fit my theme so I can't help but make an exception for them because I like them better than some of the white PWPs that i'm using. Not only that - I chose to use the classic police station rather than the modern because I liked the look of it better at the time. Only to realise I should've really used the modern one because it fits my theme better. So i'm kind of trying to work around that and have a middle ground that'll help the police station blend in better. So i'm kind of going for a natural foresty but yet modern at the same time white kingdom theme. This means that i'm still using white coloured PWPs and illuminated but i'm also using some natural PWPs for example my bridges are zen and I have a log bench. I'm also only still using white flowers though.

FFIX doesn't get nearly enough love and your town/mayor names and your explanations for certain areas and villagers makes me super happy!

Once the fall update drops, and I get the remaining amiibo cards I need, I'm going to reset the town I've had basically since launch. Not sure what sort of theme I'll be going for, but at least my town map won't look so sucky this go.

My second oldest town, Bunifrey, is a tribute and memorial to my Princess Bun Bun McCloud. I have all rabbit villagers, complete with a memorial plaque and gravesite in the middle of the town. The entirety of the town is covered in rows of roses, in as close an approximation to the spectrum of a rainbow; it's my version of the Rainbow Bridge.

My third and newest town is Gemedet, named after a location in one of my favorite books: Myst: The Book of Ti'ana. I'm not sure how it's going to look yet, but it's going to be very green with a lot of water and moats thrown in for good measure. Tacky and overused? Sure. But I'm trying to base it off of how Gemedet was described in the book.

And once I reset my first town...I'm really not sure. I would LOVE to name the town Daguerreo, but it's one letter too long and that makes me super sad. I may go with Cleyra, since it's my second favorite location in FFIX.
