what do you think of hacked dream towns?

I loved the ones that are so obviously messed up but the others, meh. idk hacked towns just seems too overdone now and they all look the same. :/

tbh there might be legal restrictions on it guys, generally speaking imo the mods here are RELATIVELY reasonable. i came here straight off of fogu for harvest moon and that's. they don't mess around over there. like you get banned you don't even get to make another account like ever, it's. it's intense.

since there's no redistribution involved i don't see how hacking could possibly lose nintendo money, but it certainly puts both the device used and the game cartridge (where applicable) out of warranty, so it would make sense for nintendo to not want this information widely disseminated.

not that the mods are nintendo spies, either. like those matrix guys. popping out of nowhere and the thread is gone before anyone knows what happened and no one remembers it existed. i'm not insinuating that at all. (lmao no for real tho like idk about this specific issue but imo the mods r p chill)

The mods on here aren't reasonable at all. How did they not allow you to talk about plot resetting a year ago without deleting it, but now everyone can? It shows how unreasonable they are. And I think a main reason is because few people can hack where as so many people plot reset that's why they let it be okay now. But then it's not fair to those of us who do hack, to be treated like we can't even discuss basic things.

It doesn't mess up your system at all, and the way I see it anyone who TT or plot resets is in a way, cheating as well. It's just unfair how the hackers are treated simply because they can do something not everyone can.
