but i love the months of october-december because i LOVE spooky season and i LOVE the holiday season. theyre always the happiest times of year for me. i love the colder weather and weve been using my fireplace a lot lately.
cold weather just makes me so happy. texas summers are absolutely miserable, i HATE constant 100+ degree weather.
everything just looks and feels better during the fall/winter months, even if we rarely get snow.
but when it DOES snow, i love to drive around and just be outside in it because its such a rare event.
i havent gone sledding in over 10 years tho which is CRAZY to me. sledding is so much fun omg
i've also NEVER gone skiing but it's a lifelong dream. probably gotta travel up to colorado for that but i hope one day i get to have a skiing vacation.
It's usually a very stressful month. As a kid it was my favorite. Not that there's not great things that happen during it. Overall it just doesn't feel as magical.
I've only recently started appreciating December, and the main reason for that is because it's quieter at work. I quite enjoy being able to put on some music and actually do work in peace rather than being in meetings all day.
It's alright! My birthday is this month, plus I celebrate both yule and christmas that I enjoy. A little sad that it's the end of the year and not a huge fan of winter, but not bad overall!
I really hate it. It's dark and the end of something (the year), it's cold, it's stressful. I can't wait for february (yeah I skip january too, it's stressful as well )
It's cold, expensive, and public transport suffers. So I'm not a fan of this season in general!
It is the one time of year we visit my parents-in-law though instead of them coming to us. They've four farm cats, mostly maine coons - one literally likes me and no one else, to the point of extreme jealousy if a person or other animal interacts with me.
It's a lovely month. I enjoy the holiday atmosphere and being present in the moment. I wish I lived somewhere where it snowed, but I can still relish the cozy feeling of climbing into a warm bed after being in the cold.
Too short! I don't know why but December feels shorter than other months. Like it's the first, my mom starts putting decoration everywhere, then it's suddenly 24th and i'm running everywhere, and then it's January already. I like the fresh snow, houses decorated with lights, markets, festive ambiance.
