Why aren't you able to download it?

My tablet is school released and therefore completely restricted from being able to download and install software. I thought I had already stated this in my first reply to this topic, seems it was over-looked.

But yes, that's the reason why I can't download it. My desktop is somewhere else in the house which I don't have access to at a certain time of the day which renders it useless during my time here on TBT. I also generally only use my tablet for TBT seeing as I spend most of the time in the night time (when I'm surfing the web) in the comfort of my room.

Couldn't you download firefox on your desktop, put the .exe file on a flash drive and plug it in?

Absolutely not. The tablets are equipped with Faronics Deep Freeze & Anti-EXE. If you do a little research, you'll know what I'm talking about and why I can't do those things.

I tried doing that Freshman year and I screwed up major. Thank the heavens I had a few hacker friends who were able to remove stuff I accidentally dragged onto my 'thawspace' (the drive where you can save school-work and personal files). But then again, anything stored on your tablet isn't really entitled to be personal property. According to the contract you have to sign to get the tablet, you relinquish all rights (or give the school full access to the tablet WHEN and IF deemed necessary).
