I'm not really a big portable console fan.
I'm an xbox guy which isn't even at all related to nintendo which is more family and children orientated.
But I suffer from sleep issues and usually ds games are visual novels almost and I like how I don't really need full attention to play them.
Anyways, my first nintendo handheld was a game boy color when I was eight when somebody stole from me at school. I had a gameboy advance sp after that, soon a regular ds, and then a ds lite. Never got a dsi.
By the time the 3ds came out, I was graduating high school and I didn't have the money and I couldn't beg my parents for toys at that point. So I basically never played any 3ds games until a few weeks ago.
I heard the new phoenix wright came out and you need a 3ds to play. But I noticed what I originally wanted was a 3ds xl was way too expensive and then I noticed the screen seemed to big.
I decided to be hipster and get a 2ds because it was cheap and The reason I went to a ds lite from a regular ds to not playing any ds games for years was because I kept breaking the hinges. Not my fault. Just regular wear and tear. Bad luck I guess.
It's impossible for that issue to happen on a 2ds.
So that's my verdict and people need stop hating on the 2ds because there isn't any reason it's bad except for the screen size but go play a psp then.
