What do you Really Wish you could do in NL, and hope they include in the next game?

- ingame-calendar which tracks events, would be cool if you could write your own notes too
- remove rocks
- decide where villagers houses take place
- bigger towns (maybe more villagers too)
- more house space

I love the idea about taking ingame notes. The ds note space isn't big enough - I ran out of room on it a long time ago, and have to keep erasing stuff that I want to leave in.

Am I the only one who realy DONT want to have an ability to set the villager houses? I think it would be pretty boring without that randomness

I wish the villagers would be even more interactive ! For example the Jocks would swim, play or play sports. Normals would read books or cook. And lazies would eat your town's fruit without it being given to them!

It's a long shot but it would be so awesome!

Above all I'd like even more variety in villager dialogue, including variety among animals of the same type. For example, Tiffany and Gloria are both snooty, but Tiffany might talk more about make-up or fashion and comment on the appearance of your character and other villagers, while Gloria might be obsessed with her hair styling and and critique villagers on their hairdos. Lazy villagers in particular would benefit greatly from this sort of thing. Instead of every lazy type talking about eating and sleeping all the time... Maybe Bob talks mostly about napping and dreams he has, Erik loves salty food so is always talking about his latest snack, and Simon loves watching TV and talks about his favorite shows.

It would also be cool to see species-specific dialogue. Maybe Pompom is obsessed with pop-star fashion but laments the fact that she can't wear fashionable shoes over her duck feet. Broffina might really be in to knitting but finds it nearly impossible to do with wings instead of hands. Jacques wants to learn to play the harmonica, but he has a beak instead of lips so he's having a terribly tough time with that.

New villagers are fun and exciting, but in the future I'd prefer they went back and refined and personalized the villagers we already have. Giving them their own individual quirks and interests would make them feel much more like characters, in the way Isabelle, Blathers and Tom Nook feel like fleshed-out characters rather than cookie-cutter personality types.

Aside from that, there are a few things I'd love to see... Being able to send mail to your friends without being in their town would be great. Tool slots in the inventory are a must, I think. Increased storage space would be very welcome. The ability to determine where villagers place their houses would be highly convenient, but I don't know if it's realistic to hope for, as I think Nintendo is quite fond of pushing a bit of spontaneity onto AC players and forcing them to experience some of the more random aspects of the game. The uncontrollable aspects are what make the game feel more autonomous and alive. In no way am I trying to argue against it, though.

Oh, and I think it would be fun to be able to grow a garden. We have many different kinds of fruit in Animal Crossing, but no veggies other than turnips. I'd love to tend to a small garden and grow zucchini, peas, lettuce, carrots... Oh, and tomatoes, too, though those are fruits.

Wow, I would love to see those upgrades! Especially the more individual dialogue of the characters. That would really improve the game. We have to spend a lot of time talking to our villagers if we want to keep them in our town, and more variety in their conversation would be great.

And I agree with you that we're not likely to gain the ability to choose where our villagers put their homes. Its just a beautiful dream . . . .

I would like the Gyroid storage brought back. Either at the Cafe or at the museum as an exhibit.

Also, the credit card we use to have in CF, so that when we do this big transactions, there isn't all this running back and forth between ABD and plaza.

Last, how we use to be able to send mail (and items) to people in other towns. I miss that. What if you just want to send 1 item to a buddy?
Yes, I really want the credit card! And to be able to use it in retail, so if you are paying someone millions of bells, you wouldn't have to run back and forth.

1: something i've wanted for ages, For every closet/dresser which ever, it has it's own INDIVIDUAL storage.
It MAY be hard to remember where you put stuff but it'd be more organized and offer more space say: a storage for hyrbrids you plan on giving away/selling a clothing only closet a wallpaper and carpet only closet, fruniture only closet, and misc items. But not SET on that i mean use any type of storage for that.

2: ACCURATE PWP placement even when i have a TON of space for a street lamp "You can't place it here" and I'm having an aneurysm over this.

3:Villager placement option even though we can reset it's way too much work and time consuming so placement is a must.

4: more map options than 3-4 (which ever it was) so less resetting

5: i do hope the next game is a hand held because It offers more fun like when you're on a car trip or on a flight and just out at a friends house it's easier to play the game to me animal crossing is a handheld meant game not a wii game or any other console though others may have different views but thats just me.

6: More building options the current ones for town hall and the train station and house are ugly

7: as someone else said tools slot are a good idea

8: more PWPs

9: New animal species

10: more hair and eye options along with more new sets

11: More space for villagers like up to 15 maybe or less.

12: like someone said gamecube in game journals because its like the tree it gives memories and more meaning to the game to remember everything

13: More interacting with villagers I LOVE that they let them vist your house now and play hide and seek it gives more connection to the player and villager and i'd like to see more

I love this idea.

I'd like to be able to garden, and maybe around harvest time, have a contest about who can grow the biggest pumpkin (I have no idea how it'd work exactly but I think it'd be cool).
I love that idea.

I agree with you. If we can control every facet, where's the challenge? I guess it could be optional, i.e. Traditional map, or City Planner map.

As well as many of the above, I'd like to see:
1. A return to the Original Storage System (each unit hold X, not a combined total)
2. A tool belt would be AWESOME! Could even still keep it interesting by limiting the number it can hold.
3. Bigger variety of community events - I mean really. How many Bug/Fish offs do you need in a season?
4. Not to Sim-ify the game, but a functional need for whichever room you create. If a kitchen, you need food; bathroom - wellll you get the picture.
5. Live chat - kill the keyboard chatting system with visitors. I know we can skype, but gimme a break.
6. Add a unique (sorta legendary kinda) critter to the game that differs per map. It would only be unlocked after a series of deeds, and then would show up randomly. That'd keep folks interested, at least it would me.
7. I'd love to actually USE the beach for more than just fishing and tropical fruit husbandry...

One more... The game be available in BOTH console & handheld versions. I'd buy both. =}

I especially love idea numbers 3, 6, and the very last one. I would soooo love to play this on the big screen occasionally! But I would not want to give up the portability of the handheld. One for each sounds awesome. :)

I saw someone mention the footballs from the gamecube version, those were fun. I would spend ages trying to roll the stupid things up the slope only to have them go streaking back down and into a river.

I would really like the ability to be roommates with any one villager, that would be the best :D

Also, if you had a house on the island with a bunch of other villagers, that would be terrific.

1.) Be able to put down a little sign with a fence around it for villagers that want to move in ORRR place a villager whenever one wants to move in.
2.) Beach house
3.) More interesting things villagers do, interact with, etc. and more varied events. Bug offs NTY sorry
4.) A way to be able to "pause" the game, per say. If you're going to be on a trip for a while and you can't bring your DS or something, there should be a way to "pause" the game for like a week minimum so that you don't lose everything. It's just an idea.
5.) More attractive hair styles

-more house exterior options

-more villager personalities, OR, same amount but each villager has things only they would say as well as what their personality type would say, so if you have 2 of one personality they don't both say the same things, there is more variety.

-3 more rooms upstairs and downstairs- just like the three rooms coming off the first floor. i have so many theme ideas for rooms and i can't do them all.

-more space for patterns

-more villagers in towns

-more space in storage

-DECIDE VILLAGER HOUSE PLACEMENT

-be able to garden and grow veggies and then sell those like fruit, like imagine you could have corn and cucumbers and eggplant and tomatoes and pumpkins and carrots and stuff!

-maybe add yards? i have a room i my house that i made into my "yard" but what if you could have back/front yards that would be like another room but OUTSIDE, and you could place items in them and also grow plants and make paths and stuff, and also plant the plants that you buy from the gardening store there and you'd have to water them and stuff HOW FREAKING COOL WOULD THAT BE

-pwp on the beach

-choice between handheld and console

-new furniture that keeps coming out and you can get it by connecting to the internet and "updating" your store (sort of like DLC but… more lol)

-pause option like stitched suggested

-being able to send mail to friends without going to their town. would help so much with trading and stuff. you wouldn't have to wait till the person and you were online at the same time etc, or about people trampling your flowers when trading in ur town lol

-being able to set restrictions for people visiting your town would be great so they couldn't take your stuff. my girlfriends little brother is always coming in her town when I'm there and messing stuff up to get her mad, lol. also in that situation it would be helpful if we also had an option to send just one person home and not everyone.

-everything sena said

-more hair color options! and maybe being able to dye hair more than one color, idk.

-lemur neighbors because i really love lemurs

-maybe since we can have bikes and boats, being able to not only display them in your house but also use them, although that probably would never happen

-when you sit on the tree and the town history thing goes, it would also said "so and so villager moved in" and then "so and so villager moved out" instead of just totally erasing them from the towns history. i lost a few favourite villagers to time travel when i didn't know much about it and was so sad when it was just like they were never even there in my town

-being able to display items outside. my town would be SO COOL

-being able to actually use certain items like bathtubs, you could go in them, and you could slide down slides, etc

-something to make kicks more exciting because i don't even remember the last time i was in there, i think i have everything already. something that would make me want to check there every day like i do with my other stores.

-imagine there was like a fast food/cheeseburger set of furniture… I've actually made drawings and planned one out, but i think that would be awesome, that seems a little random to people on here but if you knew me in real life you would know that i am obsessed with cheeseburgers :D

-more space for town name, my towns name is galifrey after the planet of the time lords in doctor who, but it is supposed to be spelled with two l's and i had to leave out one because i didnt have enough space

i am a loser with way to many ideas for this game :\

- Plant unlimited trees and bushes next to each others, it really ruins my town that I can?t do that.
- More PWPs, yeah I actually have the max amount of PWPs allowed in my town.
- The ability to remove and create rocks.
- Place villager plots.
- The ability to upgrade your town size, basically buy more land for your town.
- Bigger room sizes for my house.
- The ability to get a new layout but keep all your progress, villagers, your house, furniture, shops, and all your unlocked PWPs.

1. Rather just being able to decide where to place villager plots, I would like to be able to move and rotate all buildings whenever you want. Kind of like Sims style. I don't really like going through Isabelle's repeated dialogue when I don't like where I placed something.
2. Someone mentioned a tool belt. That would be awesome.
3. Larger organized storage space -- a section for clothes, furniture, critters, etc.
4. Remove rocks
5. Give the villager's more personality. Have them do the activities when they're outside according to their personality and make them less nice like the older games. It was a lot funnier in second grade when snooty villagers would insult me.
6. The bank card option from City Folk. I hate having to drop all my thinks, go to the post office, withdraw money and then go back to Gracie.
7. More fun events! Even the villagers complain about it.
8. The hills from the gamecube. I don't like how it's flat now.
9. When you complete a section in the museum, it would be appreciated if Blathers would at least dance and have confetti flying everywhere or be more excited about it. His or Celeste's picture as a gift would be great.

1 create one villager from scratch (made some doodles of how My dogs and turtles would look as AC caracters)
2 be a animal myselfe
3 let my favourite villager move in to my house
4 have ? ordinance that makes villagers who want to move to stay put untill they talked to me (to enable breaks from the game)
5 Be able to A) construct ponds. And B) fill ponds.
6 move big boulders
