What do you Really Wish you could do in NL, and hope they include in the next game?

The ability to create zones. By that I mean, you could designate a part of the map to be a residential zone. Residents can choose where to put their house within that zone, but they won't be able to put their house outside of it. I think of it as a happy medium between total control and completely random house placement.

Yes, I want at least 15, but a bigger town to put them in.
And if a lot of people post about the same thing, it just shows how many people want it. Which is a good thing.

No, you're not the only one- and this is coming from someone who is very particular about house placement, and spent a week pondering two spots for my caf?- one precisely a space away from the other, bahahaha.

I personally enjoy the effort you have to put in. u v u Maybe the 'zones' idea might be a good compromise, or perhaps different game modes.

I'd love for there to be an option to create an animal villager character, and have them either be playable, or an NPC.

I'd also enjoy vegetables, and maybe schools as well, because I'm aspiring to become a teacher so I believe everyone deserves a good education. u v u

Cell phones would be interesting. Or maybe a tablet, where you can send e-mail (letters) and online-shop (make catalogue orders). Maybe even online banking (handheld bell management). They could perhaps be unlockable as 'apps', and in order to keep Pete, Pelly, and Phyllis on their jobs, instead of a post office they could run a 'Communications Center', where 'apps' will be handed out in time, and DLC would be managed. Saving mail could continue, under the guise of a 'Cloud service'.

not having to depend on going to other towns/ friends to get signatures and what not as some folks don't have access to internet or friends that play.

more ways of decorating the town

I personally prefer to have a more realistic layout of my home like a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen, . can still have the theme match but be able to put in seperate rooms to get scored without it dropping. I hate putting a bedroom in with my livingroom for the happy home.

so many things we could do to improve the game but I enjoy the game and own every animal crossing that ever came out and will always continue to get any new ones that do come next. a big thank you for a great game.

I like your ideas, especially the one about repurchasing unbuyables when we run out of storage space. Maybe it could keep track of the ones we have sold back to Reese or T&T, and allow us only to repurchase the same amount. Then there would still be rare, hard to get items, which helps keep the game interesting.

A new character could run the shop, and it would sell ice cream, cupcakes, cake, etc. It would be similar to the caf? - you could work part time. Then, after a certain number of purchases, you would unlock more desserts and get prizes.
A cute name for the character would be Flan; maybe she would be a cat with a dessert design, like Merengue?
It's not the greatest idea, and it goes under the "New Shop" category, but I still think it would be cool. I just thought if it a few months ago while I was eating some ice cream. I was just nervous to share in case someone tried to steal the idea! ;m;

It sounds like a fun idea, and would fit in with the things we already enjoy on NL - shopping and food items!

What would it do to the flowers? Would it take the place of digging them up with the shovel like we do now, or trim them, or pick them?

Example: gather X number of flowers and bring them to Cyrus, and have several options for what to do with them: flower crown, boutique, corsage, or even house items like wall hangings, wreaths and chains. He could make tacky shell sculptures from cheap small shells.

--FIX TRANSLATION MISTAKES. I don't know if I'm the only one bothered by this, but it perturbs me that such a detailed game has so many name errors (at least in the NA version) The plants seem to take the brunt of it; the quince and holly bonsai are switched, the "corn plant" is actually a dracaena, and the jacobs ladder is clearly lily of the valley. Not to mention the "dharma" are daruma figures, and two completely different items have same the name (washbasin). It irriates me so much because otherwise it's a fairly educational game (who else will never mistake a cyclomatus stag with a horned atlas?) And mistakes like those listed are the only reason I can't recommend it as educational (ok, that and the whole village of talking animals thing :b )

EDIT: I need to rescind the draecaena thing. Turns out both plants are in the genus dracaena, and corn plant is one of many common names for certain species. On the plus side I found out lucky "bamboo" is also dracaena (dracaena brunii). Education for all!

Too many things to list.

I really want more of a park area. I want swings and slides and a merry-go-round that you and the villagers can interact with. I want tire swings too.

I want a PWP lake or pond that you could skate on in winter.

I want to be able to remove rocks and place villager houses.

Also deep sea diving would be fantastic. I would love if you could snorkel and see something like a large coral reef with all the fish. ^^

I also want long hair. ^^

And I REALLY want to be able to get HH Showcase houses from visitors. It is really hard to get houses when you don't live in a big city.

-Like everyone here I too want a systematic way for placing the villagers plot, there's so many people living right beside it's ridiculous.
-I also want more than just a cafe, maybe like a library.
-Separate the actual Nook store so there are more stores. (Like a furniture store, a music store etc...)
-I want like a woods section where the camp-site should be instead of just being place somewhere in the village.
-A path maker would be nice so I don't waste spots for tiles in my design slots, also on that note I want more design slots.
-More species of villagers? There seems to be enough right now but you never know.
-Maybe able to rename captured bugs, fishes? So I can actually think of them as pets.
-More tree types!
