though I don't like that sectioned off area of the beach you need a wetsuit to get to, but that's just me

also, re-tail being where it is (next to the station is honestly the best placement imo)

i like that your house has like it's own little private area but i don't like how far apart retail and the town hall is. I like to have all my important buildings together. retail by the beach tho is convenient.

the amount of space you have is nice. lets hope it's not crowded by a bunch of villagers and if it is they dont all spread out and hang out together so you have space for pwps and paths and stuff.
i have my reset center in the corner of my map so it's still there but out of the way. you could build a police station and the cafe by the townhall there too.

I don't like having the plaza in any place but the middle, and retail up the top. I got that on my first go so haven't wanted/needed to ever reset.. But yeah, go by what you yourself like.

You're beach is really cool, but sort of impractical. On the other hand, you have a lot of fun planting tree, flowers or buried treasure on your northern mini island. I'm not sure if I like the town hall being that close to the train tracks. I personally put my cafe neighboring my town hall, but I don't know it you'd want it that far from your villagers. And I like having my camping are isolated from everyone.

I think you should plan your bridges and letting others move in before you start thinking about were you want to plop buildings down.
