What do you do with your peninsulas?

I think there's been a thread on "what do you do with ___" on just about everything except for peninsulas (though it's possible it's slipped past me). But an area that I'm struggling the most with on my island is the peninsula. I think I have one of the bigger sized ones, so I have quite a bit of space to work with, but no ideas are coming to me. I currently just use it as turnip storage. On my previous file, I had a much smaller one and was able to fit a lighthouse on it nicely and that one item adequately filled in the space on it. I tried putting a lighthouse on this one but it looked awkward and lonely due to all the extra space. It's so large I could fit a villager's house on it and still have room for a garden for them. (I don't actually want to put a villager's house on it, however). What do you guys do with yours?

I like to place my campsite on my peninsula since it is usually large enough to be placed there. I put my campsite there on my last island and will definitely do it again if it fits on this one. This one looks smaller than the last. I definitely want this island to be somewhat different from the last one but I just really like having my campsite there.

My islands peninsula is quite small. I just threw down a light house on it and called it a day.

Right now I have my two lighthouses on there... my twin towers. But I'll probably take one away eventually and terraform it to make it look sort of nice

Not much. It was been overtaken by flowers, and I am too lazy to clear them out.

I plan on just throwing down a lighthouse. It's not as round as I'd like it to be so I can't really fit a whole lot on it, otherwise I'd try to do a small seating area or something.

i honestly haven’t done anything with it yet - might throw down a lighthouse or something and call it a day lol

Put a lighthouse on it and some hybrids around it to look nice.

I currently have a swinging bench facing out toward the ocean placed on the peninsula. It seemed like a nice, cute little viewing spot. I might eventually swap it out for a lighthouse as others throughout the thread have done, but not sure yet.

I terraformed enough space to put a lighthouse on it and left some space in front for a log bench and some flowers looking out to the ocean

I did a lighthouse like a lot of people, but since I have a larger peninsula, I built it up to be on the third tier.

I'm gonna put down a wood pattern and then a teacup ride! I had the lighthouse on it but moved it to the rocks since the teacup didn't look right on the rocks

I got a tiny one looks like a stop sign and I had to put my campsite there its the only thing that made any sense. I needed that perfect spot so I could move my annoying campsite. Wanted to do lighthouse but thought there were other places for it.

I put the lighthouse there and that’s it. Just the lighthouse. I have the smaller and narrow peninsula not the more circular one that I see other’s have.

As you saw when you visited the other day, my peninsula is incredibly narrow, so I can't do much with it.

Because of that, I placed one of those tourist's binoculars at the end of it, with a path leading to it.

Could always treat it like a pier and put fishing tourney gear there, cooler, poles, etc. idk. Hard call for surrrrrrrrre

Mine's pretty small, but I'll probably throw a lighthouse or bench on it since I don't have any real plans for it. I wish I had the more circular one but it's not an area of my island I care too much about.

Niiice, I did that to my pier and put the anchor statue on some rocks it looks cool I think

Yeah, I placed the anchor statue on the rocks on the northwestern corner of the island. It kinda looks like a monument or something, but it's just there for decoration lol
