Exercise
Write lists (idk I find it calming??)
Chew on things (I have a few necklaces especially for chewing)
Doing spa-like things like masks and stuff

What do you do?

(Just for clarification, self care is doing things to take care of yourself, and not just physical stuff like trying to eat right or exercise, but taking care of your emotional and mental health too, like relaxing a lot and clearing your mind and stuff!!)

I actually kind of like writing poems occasionally but I usually just like to draw whatever is on my mind. I plan on getting myself an exercise routine as well.

i never really do, specially lately, i just lie in bed all day and drink or go on the internet or something which isn't self-care

when i feel well enough to actually care about myself i'll do things like;
-use lush products and candles and things that smell nice, usually while listening to nice music
-colour in those colouring book type things, i got a nice bee one from my friend (ily) that i need to use more
-go outside, like for a walk, usually very late at night, to see these cows
-do beauty/hygiene things like face scrubs and lots of things like that
-speak to animals
-do something that isn't staying in my room all day
-try to be happy about myself
-plan things
-do things with family / speak to friends

When I feel horrible, I definitely work on my cleanliness. I shower and use nice smelling soaps, shave, cut my nails and just take a nice relaxing bath with bubbles. Once I do those things, I legit feel like a million bucks.

I also like to write fanfiction, play video games, listen to music, go for long walks, take pictures of nature and household objects, clean my room of visible clutter, sing or buy something new to treat myself.

I have recently gotten into yoga and meditating. I highly recommend it to anyone. I wasn't sure about its benefits but it truly makes me feel more energetic and it helps me learn more about my body.

Oh and I also like to chat with friends and family, as well as chatting, playing and cuddling with my cat. C:

usually just laying in bed with my boyfriend and / two kittens is enough for me... but I'll do a lot of things I guess like:
- listen to nice music and use bath bombs or bath products and take a warm shower or bath
- color those adult coloring book things and listen to music
- play with or talk to my kitties
- watch my fave shows
- use spa products like face masks and cleansers
- call up my best friend and talk for awhile or facetime or make plans w/ her
- I'll play my DS because it makes me feel better
- um go out and get yummy food like sushi or pizza

and tons more but yeah.

Take really long baths while listening to music, with candles lit, it's like so calming and great and I do it anytime I am feeling frazzled.

I drink water when I'm upset recently. so like all the time now. I'm probably gonna drown.

Play games and hang out with people

Or check out more games and read about them on the internet. Music is nice too

Clean, clean, clean. I take care of myself first (shower, bath bombs, face scrubs, lotions, clip my nails, etc, etc.) and then I usually either stay home and listen to music/watch a show on Netflix (I'd love to start using one of those adult coloring books??? idk) or go out and get coffee and just watch people walk by the store and just enjoy my surroundings, take a walk outside or something.

- Have "spa evenings" (use a face mask, put cucumber eye pads on my eyes, deep clean my hair, etc)
- Drink lots of cool water
- Have early nights
- Take bubble baths
- Dance/ballet to destress
- Light candles
- Listen to calming music
- Sit outside in the garden and enjoy the cool air
- Paint or draw
- Colour in a page of an adult colouring book

i buy face masks, bath salts and soaps to pamper myself once a week. if i dont feel like i need it, i'll skip a week, but baths surprisingly do help calm me down

When I get very stressed, I listen to classical music, take a warm shower, or go to sleep. When I'm sad, I like to go out and buy something for myself, stroll across this cute store near my dorm (the store is like an aesthetic shop with beautifully-crafted items made from recyclable materials; the atmosphere there is calm and soothing), or go to a nearby bookstore and stare at the (expensive) official art books of movies and games. On several occasions, I go around looking for some restaurant to eat and just treat myself for one meal. I also like to call home when I'm down, because I study in a city far away from my family and sometimes I just miss them. ;v;
