What do you do as you play?

I wish I could get that guide book! I use an app to keep track of certain things though, and I'll usually listen to music if I'm doing something repetitive. I also like to discuss what I'm doing with my boyfriend since he plays too. I convinced him to get the game and he likes it more than either of us expected. lol

I generally play docked at my desk which has dual monitors. I switch one over the Switch, which still leaves my computer with at least 1 to use for TBT, email, Happy Island Designer, or other.

Depending on what I am doing, I'll mute the Switch and use my phone and Bluetooth buds to listen to music of my choosing.

I usually play when I get up in the morning and before I go to bed at night. Occasionally I'll get on when I get home from work and I'll play at random times of the day on weekends. If I'm playing handheld mode, sometimes I'll have tv on in the background.

I usually immerse myself in the game and just play with sound up, and really just focus on it like I'm living there (I wish...). But when I want to play and I hate the music I put earphones in and listen to NL/WW music for the hour.

usually watching a streamer (lilsimsie, laceduplauren, simplypressstart are some of my favs) and/or listening to music if i'm not hanging out with fam. it goes without saying i always have a tbt tab open lol.

I watch streams as well when I play! Lately it's moonmoon playing Minecraft lol, but I like putting on things I don't have to pay full attention to while I play.

When I first open up AC I usually check the stores first so I have my companion app open so I can check mark anything I buy. Other than that I usually watch YouTube, Disney plus, Hulu, or I’m on Pinterest looking for clothing design ideas. I love making clothes in this game.

I am watching dragon ball z recently. At night, I watch speedruns attempts, mostly ocarina of time 100% or minecraft random seed glitchless. Thats how I am not going insane with so much terraforming and flower digging xD

Most of the time im just listening to game audio but if im doing something tedious ill either listen to music or listen to my favourite podcast! If im doing something like designing my island or flower breeding ill have a guide or reference image open on my laptop, and if not then ill have the forums open or something
I'm the type of person who struggles to multitask and so i cant really watch something at the same time, so podcasts and music are great! (although i struggle even with podcasts haha)

Nothing really. I'm terrible at multitasking. I have my phone handy in case I need to look something up but otherwise I basically just play.

During the week I am wfh so I’m typically lesson planning or answering emails while playing. On the weekends, I usually have a Kpop playlist running on Spotify while I landscape. It keeps my energy up!

Well, I Wouldn’t be surprised if I’m the only one to say I let my baby take a nap on me. He hates being put down to sleep during the day, so I play a little while he snoozes curled up on mommy. I always have my phone handy for information though, nothing too involved. If little one is down for the night, I take advantage of the baby free time and lay down to play.

Typically I'll have my notes about hybrids/villagers' preferences (now I have an app for the latest) and play handheld snuggled somewhere with my dog. I almost always have the forum/discord open on my phone to check during loading screens or such.
