What do y'all use your NMT for?
the reason why I don't have a lot of NMT because I'm constantly redeeming them to decorate my town or going to islands for resources. what i don't understand is how people have 100+ miles and not use them. Besides the online trade economy and selling, whats that your purpose for them? I don't see how people can sell a villager for 150 NMT for example when they "completed" the game and theoretically have all their dreamies. it's like, and then what? lol. what do y'all do with yours?
I have 80,000 miles (not tickets) right now but I'm not sure what I want to use them for to be honest haha. I'm waiting for a lattice fence recipe, and once day I'll use the to buy all the Nook Miles items for completion but I don't want to buy them right now!
I have most of my dreamies and am just missing Tia, so I'm just saving my miles right now
I have 0 nook mile tickets currently so there's no way I could participate in these markets anyways >.< When I post on the trading boards, I'm usually happy to help people for free, or for an even exchange (a diy for a diy for example). If someone is looking for flowers, I just let them come over for free to shop. I help people simply because it makes me happy to help them, I don't do it for a profit. I'm all about playing games together as friends and having fun together.
I will occasionally purchase a nook mile ticket from the machine and seek out an island for resources. I used to do it almost nightly for tarantula hunting but those darn water beetles ruined that play for me =p Otherwise, I really don't use the tickets.
i have like 90,000 miles saved up because i'm a hoarder haha, so i don't really redeem for nmt. i haven't really had to redeem any of my miles because people pay me and i pay others with nmt often, so i usually have a stash of tickets in my inventory. i guess i just hold onto my tickets and use them when i someone is selling something i really want (usually it's a recipe, or a chance to get a recipe from someone)
I have about 125K miles now and I’ve redeemed almost everything I could need. I’m just saving it all so I can island hop and find villagers I like when someone from my town moves out. I need only two more dreamies and then I’m set.
I use my Nook Miles to get tickets to go on tours if I’m looking to move a resident in. Just found Beau on an island and invited him. I also spend it on DIY recipes and items. Not all at once though. I like to have a certain amount of Nook Miles around in case I want to go island hopping if one my Villagers decides to move out unexpectedly.

I'm stockpiling Nook Miles for tickets for when I want to start looking for villagers. I refuse to give these to other people for items and villagers.
You get Bells (or TBT when enabled), not tickets. >:
i’ve gotten every book miles item that i wanted and so now they’re just going towards tickets since there’s nothing else that appeals to me aha

I used my nook miles for countless errors. But now that I know them, I only use them at night in hopes of Bamboo/Tarantula island. As those islands give you guaranteed Tarantulas as Water Bugs can't spawn in those islands. Of course, I bring other tools with me to grind materials. (I'm severely running low on Wood. Softwood and Hardwood i'm ok with.)
I've used mine for decorating my island with Nook items and recipes and going on excursions (taking a break from those as I have ten villagers now). I don't think I'd ever use them for forum trading unless I built up an excessive amount and wanted to get rid of them.
I mostly spend the miles on tickets, but i used them for decorations and fences a few times. I will redeem them for more items once i get an idea of what kind of areas i want to create on my island.
I have over 60,000 miles saved up. I'll go to the islands about once per day hoping to get a Bamboo island for Tarantula farming.
I don't charge NMT for trades/visits, and don't ever plan to.
I don't use NMT. I've had all my favorite villagers for days now. I rather use my miles to buy those props from the terminal instead.
I always go to an island, especially if I have an open lot. I bought the paths I wanted and I buy furniture if I get Nook Miles from achievements.
