I'm a pro-listener apparently 
Some townies may view the player mayor in another image. These are called "Mayor Rumors." It is a given title by the townies while chatting with them, where they reveal on how the player acts as a mayor. The rumor changes according to the actions the player makes.
Freshman Mayor - Obtained upon becoming mayor. Cannot be obtained again once it has been switched out.
Pro Listener - Can be obtained by fulfilling villager's requests exactly.
Happy Tourist - TBA, possibly by frequent visits to Tortimer Island and/or other towns.
Hometown Hero - TBA
Fasionista - TBA, possibly by wearing custom made clothes.
Pro Traveler - TBA, possibly by frequent visits to Tortimer Island and/or other towns.
Social Butterfly - Possibly by talking to the villagers frequently.
Individual - TBA
Flower Fan - Obtained by planting and watering many flowers, can be obtained by picking up flowers and setting them back down. 500+ flowers are required for this rumor.
Time Traveler - TBA, Most likely by time skipping/ time traveling frequently
Visionary Leader - TBA
Fish-and-Bug Star - TBA, Likely by catching many types of fish/bugs
Stump Maker - Obtained by cutting down many trees
World Traveler - TBA
Civic Leader - TBA, possibly by being the only donator to a public works project
