What did you do with the rocks on your island?

I'm talking about the big black ones you can place furniture on, at the beach... I know some people do cafes, but I already have one elsewhere.
I have 2 big free spots, one in the back corner and one in the middle of the beach. Currently only using one for a star gazing area, so I'm looking for inspo! Pictures appreciated

One beach rock is like a sky-gazing area next to Sprinkle's house with some of the shell furniture her original house uses (she's a starter on my island, but I like what I've done with her house so I don't mind). I've got K.K. Love Song playing but you can't really hear it from the zen cushion.

Beyond that, I haven't come up with much honestly. There's one with a palm tree lamp and a marimba on it for Rodney's private beach (yes). Here's Billy chillin on it

The rocks on the other side of the island I don't have a clue for yet, in part because the cliffs run right up on the coast in the northwest so that area is annoying to get to. Just got a golden toilet, a scooter and a telescope out there. Hope to do something cool w/ it eventually - I was thinking maybe do an aesthetic beach walk back there, or like a spa/luxury bathroom with my whirlpool bath and a towel basket and bamboo stuff... and the golden toilet

Other ideas:

• snapping turtle/gnome hangout spot - could style it like a little kingdom or a picnic or other cute event they're having
• super basic whatever picnic area with the blanket n everything
• tiki bar (another basic idea ik)
• collection of favorite fish models
• collection of favorite fish
• monument/memorial of some kind/fake art statues

I swear my rocks are smaller than the ones I've seen with restaurants on and stuff. I've not been very creative with mine - one has a lighthouse, anchor statue and rubber ring. One has the statue of liberty. I used to have the outdoor bath on one and stone arch, but I moved them.

I like the idea of putting turtles on them but I can't catch any because I never play at night

I love what you did with yours! The perspective of the lighthouse is great. Sometimes the "simple" designs are the best ones

Ahh, thanks! Someone on the wishing well thread got me my blue lighthouse and it still makes me happy everyone I see it.

I just put lighthouses on them for now, lmao. I’ve considered putting other stuff on them, but I have no idea what exactly. I’ll keep checking this thread though for inspiration as well!

This is not very helpful for right now, BUT.

If we get deep sea diving and can catch crabs, I think a very cute idea would be if you have those little umm... "water pockets" or little pool things ( ) in some of your rocks, to put crab models there! I think it would be cute in general, even if you don't have the pools. But this is more of an idea for the future since we don't have them (yet?)

My back island rock by my camlsite just has a light house. One had a picnic set I threw on there. I had Stonehenge on one by moved it down the beach.
Basically nothing, I can't come up with anything I want to do with it atm.

I haven't done anything with them really. I have a lighthouse on my far northeastern rock, and I had a camping chair set up on my northwestern one, but since I couldn't figure out what else to put in the area, I took it down. Not really sure how best to utilize them. Is there a bucket and spade set item in the game?

ive seen this a lot on reddit, but i like the idea of making qr codes of ur villagers' names in chalk and then putting it on a big rock like theyve signed it, so i want to do that with one of mine. im also going to have a little stargazing area on one because i think thats precious

Currently have plans for a stargazing area on one of them, a little music area on another, and then also the classic picnic? Not sure about the picnic though since I kinda of have one on my pier already.

I am planning on making my big rocks sort of a spa like area, I will have that hot tub looking thing (I forgot it's name) I'm going to put some lockers to change, some beach chairs to lay on after soaking and some stools, fencing
