What Did You Accomplish On Your Island Today?

I have been waiting and waiting for one of three villagers to ask to leave...

And today was again not that day :c But! Kapp'n brought me to a summer island and I waited until the evening to get a nice haul of sharks and bugsies to sell to CJ and Flick later. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have better luck with my villagers 🤞

I started redesigning my entire island in mid-January, which meant tearing down 10 ramps and 10 bridges, and moving all 10 villager houses and all the buildings. Since I don't time travel, it has been a slow process of moving one building per day and tearing down one ramp/bridge each day. But today I built the final bridge!! My island redesign is officially complete after weeks of slowly moving stuff! Now I can begin decorating

I've been juggling my play through of New Horizons and Wild World while trying to power through my gba copy of Pokemon Firered. So I've actually been on a bit of an autopilot in animal crossing. But I've made a bunch of progress filling up my catalog, though I really need to focus on more crafting soon. That's probably going to be something I try to work into my routine, especially as I get closer and closer to finding all the Nook's Cranny items.

Otherwise, I've really just been trying to keep up with my daily maintenance while I make more progress in Wild World. That save is going really well, I hope to finish up my catalog before the end of the year so I can start on City Folk soon.

right now i’m trying for certain flower hybrids so i’ve been watering and digging up flowers… and same thing with cedar trees. i’ve recently started playing around with having different sizes of trees on my island — so what i’ll do is i will plant field of trees and dig them up at different sizes so that i have a bunch ready to go for landscaping. hoping to have enough to start landscaping my cliffs soon!

I wasn't sure if I could or not but I set out to make 500,000 bells today so I could get the first storage after the last mortgage. I crafted and sold a bunch of random stuff, picked the produce and cooked a lot of it, went diving probably four trips, made a few shell arches, and a few other random things and I did it, I made a cool half-million bells.

As I'm a day ahead in my game I also took a whole lot of stuff to the museum, including the spider crab and a coelocanth as it happened to be raining part of the day.

Then I took a few minutes and put together a new hotel room.

My new game controller got here today too so maybe poor Ellie can be a little less prone to heading in directions she isn't supposed to go.

- It was raining again this morning, so I managed to catch three more coelacanths that I plan to put towards a coelacanth model. I was originally just gonna buy one on here, but the shops that offer creature models are closed and the threads are locked.
Luckily, I was feeling more patient than usual and it paid off. I caught three coelacanths in the span of in an hour, if even. Patience REALLY is a virtue, I guess. ^_^

- I had Katrina bless my friendship with Apollo and I got my second "True Friends" Nook Miles achievement as a result.

- I had K.K. Slider play me "Two Days Ago" and got the aircheck for my music library.

- I finally managed to get some more cute furniture and the cute red wall in my HHP catalog. I looked into it online and got a list of villagers whose houses I needed to do, so I could unlock the aforementioned items. Luckily, I had Flurry's and Hazel's Amiibo cards this whole time, so I designed houses for them. I also learned that you get photos from designing houses via Amiibo, so I should get their photos in the mail tomorrow. That's something. :D

- I forgot what I all bought exactly, but I bought some cute furniture for my left and right rooms. My left room will have the white variant, and my right room will have the red variant.

- It turns out the pink heart rug was not available to purchase at the HHP area (despite having it registered as an item to use for the homes), so I donated the rest of the bells I needed for Saharah's shop at Harv's Island. Hopefully I can get it there pretty soon.

The ABD I ordered arrived in the mail, and I fixed a spot for it near the tailor's shop since that's a way away from resident services. That half-million bell storage expansion made the anywhere storage cupboard plan available so I got that and built three of them, which ran me close to out of wood so I spent extra than usual smacking trees.

Flick was in town so I ordered a bagworm model, and sold him the odd assortment of bugs I caught here and there.

I did a little top river fishing and found a few cherry salmon. Several bugs and the salmon were donated to the museum.

Visited Saharah and found some interesting walls, floors, and rugs. Also thought I'd throw a few bells toward Katrina's stall and found it was nearly paid off already.

I'm trying to figure out what to do in some spaces and keep wondering why it all looks so huge until I start trying to put stuff there then it's nowhere near as big as I need.

- I caught and donated some new stuff, since we are now in March, including the spider crab and the golden trout. I actually caught them pretty quickly too, despite their rarity and value. ^_^
Hopefully I can catch the cherry salmon and the char pretty soon. I still need those. ^_^

- I bought some more cute furniture from HHP, and the red cute wall and floor for my right room.

- I bought some decorates from Nook Stop, including a pergola, a balloon cart, tea cups, and a marry-go-around

I had a lot of things going on so I missed talking to some villagers yesterday because they were sleeping which bummed me out, but good news is that I was able to talk to everyone today AND one of those three villagers finally asked to move so I can go island hopping on Wednesday 🥳 The problem now is that I work that day which will cut into my island hopping time. I wish they could have asked on Friday instead :c

Other than that there's new bugs and fish around now so I am starting to hoard 3 of each for commissions! Today specifically I have been targeting the peacock butterflies. I also have to start doing some night dives for Firefly Squids. They along with Spider Crabs are the last two entries I need in the museum :D

Today on Crescent-

Been time traveling a bit to get the horses moved in. Papi will be moving in tomorrow. Ed is in the campsite . Made him a ukulele.
Played a bit of Festival.

Today on Avalon

Gave gifts to my villagers
Received Ursala’s photo
Phil came over to visit and he brought an orange . I won the high low game.
Invited Blaire to the campsite , made her a wooden chair .

Today I wanted to try and catch a char, after using 80 fish bait yesterday with no luck! I crafted 103 fish bait and went up to the cliff top. There was a fish already there so I caught that first. It was a char! Now I have 103 fish bait and no fish to catch 😂

Technically, this was yesterday, but…

- I finally caught and donated the cherry salmon and the char I needed.

- I also caught and donated: a chambered nautilus, an umbrella octopus, and a firefly squid.

- I ordered some more furniture I needed for my left and right rooms. The reason it is taking me multiple days is because of the stupid limit.

- Rooney had a thought bubble about wanting to come to my house, so I invited him.

I harvested my crops, cooked up some dishes (hit the however many the maximum is to fulfill that Nook miles thing), and sold my excess hoard of sugar. I also smacked all my coconut trees for wood, shook regular trees until I found the two pieces of furniture, and hit rocks until I found the bell rock.

I picked up a few things from Able's but there is no way I'm going through the torture of buying five of an outfit just to complete a catalog--if I like it I buy it, and if I don't it stays. I appreciate the try-on booth but buying the stuff needs to be more like shopping from Kicks or Saharah.

I tried organizing a few more flowers for hybrids. I also moved my house so I can get it in the right position since when I last moved it, it was a space off. I had shot down a hammock so used it along with a Vintage TV tray in Nate's yard, and worked around Drake's house. That's a large area that's supposed to be kind of watery but I'm thinking it needs a whole revamp.
