What Did You Accomplish On Your Island Today?

Awe I love so much of this! It's such a cute game we really can create everything and anything we want that brings us so much joy!!! 🌷 You've been so much more productive than me I love it!!!!
Well, some days I have more time than others.

Today was the second day of TTing for campsite villagers but it went a lot more smoothly than yesterday. My first camper was Chadder and on the third try he asked to replace Paula so I said yes. Now to start with, I thought Paula might be a keeper but as time went on I liked her less, but I like changing up villagers anyway so off she went! For now I'm leaving it at that because it's entirely possible a super desirable camper could come along, or one of the right ones could feasibly want to move, or I might get brave and try using one of my Amiibo cards, or....

I was careful not to TT too far, only into March as I did not want to end up messing with Kapp'n's trips too much, figured I'm close enough to spring now that if we happened across a spring-time island it wouldn't much matter. I discovered during those two trips of roughly a month apiece the villagers had halfway paid off that incline.

Anyway, after getting Chadder in I cut down all the money trees I had grown (that money finished paying off the incline), dug up a bunch of junky flowers, harvested the crops (did not have to water as it had rained and gifted the eight I could with pumpkins), moved a few hybrids in hopes of them making more of the same. Also made a bunch of food dishes (multi-crafting FTW) to sell to Nook's then went on a little adventure with Kapp'n and found a money tree island with some tomatoes where the fishing was lousy. I turned all those tomatoes into puree and sold that to Nook's as well.

I also put in a move request for Chrissy's house as it was in the same spot where Kyle's house was that I wanted to move to be out of the way of the new incline.

I knew I'd forget something! Up Falls has two birthdays coming up: Anicotti and Hamphrey, one right after the other. I ordered them gifts from the Nook catalog--hopefully something they'll like.

I hit a few of those 2,000-5,000-point Nook rewards so I ordered a gazebo to put in the area near the hotel.

That is amazing! I wish I had more time for AC sometimes work life just gets to busy and seems everyone's village and envy it! Bit it comes together in the end, we are all on our way to creating a beautiful village in our own time.
I love how organised you are and work that's being put in will absolutely be worth it!!! 🏡

Life does have a way of getting in the way of things. I'm old and infirm and would love being thirty or forty years younger again. Also, I think I probably make it sound better than I do. And most of the time I'm running back and forth willy-nilly because I forgot something clear across the map, and grab things to sell as I go. "Oh, there's one of those butterflies!" "Oooh, a tiny shadow--it's probably a bitterling!" "Oh hey, look at that--is that another sturgeon? Oooooh, it IS another sturgeon!"

Anyway, yesterday I fixed up the place I moved Chrissy's house out of so I could put Skye's house there. (Skye's hobby is music and I had stuck a marimba in the trees near her place and she was playing it). There are just things I don't like about how I have some of the houses now so I'm trying to logic my way through that mess.

I harvested fruit, crafted some and sold some; have an excess of oranges so gave 2 each for gifts and got Agnes' photo.

Kapp'n's island was the viney type (I realized the grass sounds squishy there).

I remembered I had paid for Tortimer's trailer at the flea market so went there and had a few pieces of furniture customized. Also threw a few bells toward Sahara's set-up.

I made a few dives too and crafted the mermaid stuff I didn't already have done. Then later I listened to K.K. (as I've kept my game one day ahead as that syncs better with my life) and got K.K. Aria.

Sahara Visited. I didn't buy anything from her. Made Whitney a cute pastel cafe themed VIP hotel room. FINALLY GOT TOBY ON MY ISLAND! Not a villager I absolutely need, but he's cute. FINALLY found my Chai Amiibo card, so gonna start working on getting her because she's a dreamie. I have an extra Toby card if anyone wants to trade lol (Even though he's a bunny he's kind of perfect for frog themed islands and his items are totally adorable!) Glad buck and Roscoe are moving on to the quarterfinals, excited to see them in the semifinals if possible! listened to K.K. Dirge without dying (Horray!) Wonderful people at my hotel (Including Pietro who has officially visited for the 5th time now. I'm not complaining though, he gives me Hugh Morris Vibes.)

It was coconut day so I ran the beach smacking trees for wood, collecting shells, and wrapping coconuts as I went. I passed gifts around and talked with Chrissy and Chadder. I fixed up the area where Skye's house had been in prep for moving Agnes' house there. It's not that I want her there but I want to do some work around where her house currently is and that's a nice place for a house anyway.

I hem-hawed around trying to decide if I wanted to work on the bamboo hill or not and finally decided I didn't have that much ambition. Instead I jumped on the boat with Kapp'n and went to another viny island. Seeing as how I'm just about halfway saved up for the last mortgage I did up all my crop stuff and sold most of it to push the savings a little closer, keeping back enough for gifts for the next day.

Somewhere I stopped and talked with June, one of the hotel guests of the day (why don't I have any bear cubs in my town?). She was talking about what a great island Up Falls is and I wondered just how much more fence Isabelle would say was needed. Surprisingly she said the town has a 5-star rating! It must have been that ramp and the gazebo I ordered with the Nook points. In celebration the hotel got a fourth room done, went with a Kiddie theme this time.

Today on Avalon-

Did some terraforming
Planted some cedar trees
Gave a gift to Fang from Roald
Gave gifts to my villagers
Did some diving
Donated sea creatures to Blathers then sold the rest
Gave Pascal a scallop and received the Mermaid flooring DIY.
Had Blathers assess some fossils one new fossil.
Picked up tree branches and weeds

It was my third day Amiiboing Apollo into my campsite, so I convinced him to move in. My island was already full, but thanks to the game allowing us to push a villager out (I chose Norma), I successfully convinced him.

Donated the rest of the bells I needed for the fortuneteller shop.

It was also Saturday, so K.K. night. I had him play K.K. Ragtime for me. It’s just such an nostalgic song for me. 🥹💕

On my kingdom I got a bit of the river to work along the moat.
Course, once I do more to the rivers, I'll see what works and if I should leave it as is. Once that works, plus figuring out where the heck I put the tailor shop, I can then start terraforming cliffs, and putting the houses onto the land. Most have been stuck on the beach for a while. And I really wanna make a start on their farms; plus try and get the story working again.

Also asked for a log bridge to be put over the new river area, that ain't gonna be done quite yet but good enough anyways.

Yesterday, because I did not post last evening:

I did go to work on the bamboo hill and took out all the tulips up there and planted lilies which seemed more appropriate. I'm also working slowly on reigning in those flowers before they get completely out of control. (I remember in my other save using a combination of invisible design paths, weeds, and flowers to make places look a little more natural.)

Kapp'n took me to an island where all the rocks had hidden treasure so I ended up with about 50,000 or so bells from there and finished paying for Saharah's spot at the flea market.

Iron tables were the hot item so I made and sold 15 of those.

I had decided a couple of days ago to put another bridge in. It may or may not end up something I like or like where it is. I'm over halfway to the last mortgage payment so once that money pit is done I need some storage upgrades to get the plans for the storage cupboard, then I'll have money to throw around on tearing out and rebuilding bridges, etc. if I want.

Fuchsia kept coming up with the thought bubble thingy all day so I just ignored her.

Today on Avalon-

Had some fossils assessed
Gave gifts to my villagers
Celeste is here and she gave me a new DIY for the Pisces lamp.
Remembered to do the group stretching
DIY bottle was new - ironwood chair
New DIY from Erik was a windflower fan
Watered my veggies.
Trying to make enough bells to get the last two castle towers.
Also trying to get more stone .

I was horribly lazy and uninspired today. Plus, I had two villagers with birthdays a day apart (Anicotti and Hamphrey) so I sort of pushed two days into one just to get it all out of the way.

Otherwise I did pick my fruit, and did a coconut run. I threw gifts around. Among the hotel visitors were Pancetti, Tammy, and Lionel. Since my munching of days sort of pushed me past snow I fixed up the hotel outfits to be a little less like winter wear.

We haven't had any new fossils for a few days so they all go straight to the Nooklings.

I finally shot down balloons with some unique items in them! I got a storefront, a patchwork low table, and a swan ring.

One of the hot items was the mermaid screen. I made up five of those for a sale price of somewhere around 250,000 bells. Between that and everything else I put close to 400,000 into savings--getting closer to that mortgage payment all the time! (I'm going to have to do some serious diving to stock up on pearls again.)

So glad I went through a bit more on my kingdom island

Paid off small bridge
Organised the castle walls a lil better
Terraformed the river mount a bit more! Also had an interesting idea for a future 'scene' for the story.

There's a small land near the end of a river that I knew had to debate what would put there and then it hit me
It can be a lil area where the commoners would wash their clothes! Didn't completely make it nut added a clothesline and old wash basin there so I can do more later.

Also added a small area near the other human that lives there and its so good. Works well with the story

Bought loads of bushes, really needed some for when I start the nature areas near the castle walls.

Planning to look through what recipes this rep would likely need for a kingdom and make note of what I need to get.
