What Did You Accomplish On Your Island Today?

Not a super eventful day, but I managed to fix most of my crop desync today. No items in my shop to customize and I kinda took it easy. Honestly I played a lot more wild world today haha. I did have Kicks visiting, so I bought out his new stock. Hopefully I get more to do tomorrow, I also need to take some time to collect the February Fish and Bugs to make models, I keep putting that off

Not a lot, really. I did play long enough to sell a few fish to C.J., order a model of the bitterling, shook trees and caught the bees (mainly to look for furniture), and not much more. Nook's is closing tomorrow for the remodel. There was a snowstorm so I didn't have to water anything. Oh, I did get a single hill of white pumpkins out of the twenty hills I planted the other day. That's enough, though.

Oh! One important thing today--there was a camper and it was Iggly. I tried really, really hard to convince myself to move him in but with those eyes stuck staring up into the sky, and the red horizontal stripes of the t-shirt with the turquoise body, even thought I said, 'you know what? you could get him another shirt!' I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

My animal's were crossed really quickly today haha. My routine went super quickly, I got all my crops and such done quickly, and even finished off the guide villagers to the hotel achievement. I also was playing wild world today, and that was also really quick on account of my shop being closed for upgrades. So hmm, not much to report today, but it was a satisfying day

The mermaid wall clock was a hot item today at Nookling's. I managed to get enough materials together to make 10. I ended up making around 250,000 bells from it. This meant I now had enough money to pay off the rest of my loan, so I did that.

I already had the room across from my doorway, and my left room, so I am assuming that this will get me my right room tomorrow. ^_^

I started out with it being Friday the 13th in my game and Nook's was closed. I ended up with a few bugs to sell and a lot of clothes from gifting to save for the next day.

I tried looking around for bare acres and plunking down a few flowers, fenced off a couple of places and plunked flowers in them. I harvested a whole lotta pumpkins and fruit and some other stuff. I also fixed up the little area in front of Nook's where I have my cooking station and made a porch swing behind a bonfire nearby--used some brick fence behind it all for a little accent.

Redd was in port and had a good painting. Hotel guests were Spike and Opal. I decided since the store was closed and I was a day behind anyway to save and push forward.

And my little green rodent (Anicotti) thought maybe she ought to move on to further her journey toward fame and fortune but I talked her out of it.

Saturday the 14th my mailbox was full of Valentines greetings. I also had a bunch of Valentines stuff I had bought from the Nook goodies so between all of it I had enough to wrap and gift to all the villagers. I sold off all the stuff from the day before, plus all the junk clothes the Valentine's Day gifts had yielded.

I harvested all the coconut trees and smacked them for wood then planted four more as I was short that many for a full run of ten gifts on coconut day. The mini DIY bench was one of the 'hot' items so I did up ten of those and sold them (I've been slacking on collecting wood). None of the fossils were needed so those got sold as well. I got the cup and saucer today from Brewster so I'll do up the third hotel room. I'm not sure what kind of idea I can come up with for the fourth but it seems more reasonable to span them out over time, especially since my town is kind of sad.

On Nook's grand opening day they had a fire pit so that was a nice thing to get hold of, and it now resides on the beach near the hotel. Deena (I don't recall if I've seen Deena since GC) and Brofina were the hotel guests.

I've been making the little snow people so they aren't quite as unsightly all over town, and most of them are perfect.

Also I've started hoarding up another stash of sturgeon for C.J. Happening across one of those a day makes for a nice bonus when he visits.

ETA: I knew I'd forget something! K.K. was in town and I asked him for a random song (seeing as I mail order most of his music) and he opted for "My Place".

* I opened my mailbox and got Valentine's Day gifts from Isabelle and Rooney.

* Like yesterday, there was, once again, a mermaid item (this time the bed) as one of the hot items at Nookling's. I had enough materials to make five of the beds and got over 200,000 bells for them. I am now out of pearls, but the good news is that I can get at least two a day now. 🦦❤️🐚

* I put this money towards a second bridge, so I plotted down for it and then paid all the bells I needed to for it.

* I decided to invite Pascal into my hotel and gave him a seaside VIP room. ^_^

* Today was Saturday, so that meant K.K. was here. I requested him to perform K.K. Folk. A favorite of mine because of how cheery it is. Over the next few weeks, I am considering having him perform Two Days Ago, K.K. Faire, and K.K. Ragtime (though it might not be in that order). I also really enjoy those three aforementioned K.K. songs.

. . .

* I MIGHT log on before the game rolls over to the next day at 5AM, so I can get another villager house moved up north.

I was gone most of the day so didn't do much. I happened across all the fossils, threw together gifts for all the villagers (got quite a lot of wallpaper and flooring in return this time). Then tended my crop mess where I needed to take out part of the mess of pumpkins and put in sugar. I had stuck a bunch of veggies in inventory the other day so set about to cooking up today's harvest and that and sold some 200,000 bells worth of food to Nook's. Now I've only about 50,000 to go to pay off the second story mortgage.
