What Did You Accomplish On Your Island Today?

Making a flower crown shop! :)
That I want to see! Well, that is if you can. (I still haven't worked out how to do that yet.)

My time was a bit disjointed, like I wasn't sure where I was going or what I was doing. Ultimately I gifted at least most of the bunch and collected several DIY plans.

Visited Harvey's island and had Cyrus redo a handful of items and put a down payment on getting Kicks' shop.

Sort of organized a small farming area and planted some potatoes, carrots, and wheat. Also moved the pumpkin patch but it's not in its permanent location yet.

Put in to move Flip's house.

Caught an oarfish and another sturgeon. They're all going to wait until Chip's next visit.

There was a major meteor shower tonight--should have a full amount of star pieces tomorrow. And Celeste was in town so I got a DIY pattern from her.

Made three diving trips.

Found my first hybrid, a pink lily. I've no idea how because it was with some red lilies that have never been near white lilies.

P.S. I forgot--when I went to the Roost one of the hotel guests was at the counter having coffee.

Today on Avalon

Welcomed Lolly
Invited fang to the campsite and made him a kettle bathtub
Bought and planted flowers from Leif
Got the hedge DIY from Leif
Gave gifts to my villagers
Planted more veggies on my farm
Went fishing and diving

Collected 19 regular star pieces plus one Aquarius.

Ran around willy nilly collecting fossils and shaking trees to find the furniture.
Had the fossils checked out and donated three plus a tiger beetle (you really have to work to hide those bugs in with other stuff to keep Blathers from freaking out), and one of the pieces was a completer for I can't remember which one, but it was a dinosaur that wasn't a dinosaur.

Took out trees and shrubs that I'd stuck in my inventory and put them out.

Took my Cute pieces (they keep falling out of trees and balloons) to Cyrus and got them fixed up to use in the upstairs, at least for the time being.
Finished paying off Kick's stall at the flea market and bought stuff from Leif (now have tomatoes and wheat as well as more pumpkins, looking for the white one).
Had enough money saved up to pay off the 748,000 bell mortgage (I was so broke after that--had spent down to 1,000 bells!).

Put down more pathways and got a move order for the shop.
Made two dives and had three sea pigs in one of them. Score! (I'm in no particular hurry to finish it so put about 40,000 on the brick bridge and savings back up to around 90,000.)

Got the cookie recipe from Brewster (he's going to "sponsor" the next hotel room deco so it'll need all the Brewster goodies).

Went with Kapp'n to an island that had wheat, so I picked it, ground it, and made every single recipe I could that involved flour.

I still have one house lot to place but am waiting in hopes of a camper I like. I could go island hopping for one but I figure sure as I do I'll end up with someone really good in town and there's no one I'm ready to boot just yet.

February 7, 2026: Pushing today and yesterday into one, my peaches and cherries got delivered so I have started three of each.

I moved my house, don't know if I like it where it is or not.

I realized that with the multi-crafting cooking, especially fish caught, is worth doing now. I'd been catching so many marlins I cooked one to keep.

Skye wanted to visit so I said okay then we went to the house and into the kitchen. She sat on the chair while cooking was done, applauding each and every dish.

I realized I had collected and crafted enough furniture to look more like a house than a storage space so rearranged for the kitchen to be in the main room and a small living room off to the side.

I made little yards for Agnes, Robin, and Paula. I have a large area above the campsite and realized it'd make a nice place for a hot springs and bamboo so crafted a few things to put up there.

Made a perfect snowboy--I'm kind of hit and miss with those, as in I know how to do it but am not exactly coordinated so the other day the bottom ended up on top.

On Avalon the last few days.

I have been planting and watering my flowers. I was able to get the last nook mile achievement for Flower power. Also the 4th stamp for Flower tender.

I have been crafting furniture for Fang and he will move in tomorrow.

Mineru was sick today so brought her some medicine.

Crafted a bunch of furniture for a new area I am working on.

We had shooting stars last night so wished on those and picked up the star fragments today.

Gave gifts to my villagers and sent a few in the mail.

- I did some terraforming. I plan to only have a two-level island, so I have been getting rid of the level 3 ground. I still have a level 3 area on the top left of my island to get rid of. I have never gone too wild with the terraforming, as it is a bit overwhelming and tedious, but I want to at least do a bit for the layout I have envisioned: A level 2 cliff on the northern part of my island where the villager houses and museums are.

- I also got started on relocating houses. I relocated Rooney's today. His house is on the top right of my island. I plan to have five villager houses on the top right and the other five on the top left. My museum is in the top middle of my island.

- I haven't donated the bells for it yet, but I plotted down for an incline. I had one that was meant to lead to my museum, but it drove me insane that I couldn't align it with the entrance, so I demolished that one.

- I unlocked the ability to design non-villager houses in HHP, so I designed a vacation house for Pascal. I mentioned in the ACNH positivity thread that I have grown an attachment to him. Not that I didn't like him before, but damn, he's grown on me. ;-; -- I never really had a favorite non-villager until now. Maybe Cyrus, but I was unsure.

And luckily, I have had Pascal's Amiibo card all this time, so yeah. Of course, I gave him a house by the beach (and a pier). I gave him a two-story house, the main floor having a seaside them and the upstairs having the mermaid theme. Excluding the furniture sets that are absent in NH, the cute (specifically the white and pink variant) and the mermaid sets are my two favorites. Since we get the DIY recipes for the latter from him, I made the upstairs dedicated to it (along with some furniture that goes well with it).

Also, I discovered something cute. :,) If you visit a house, they will give you something that you used in their house. Pascal gave me a seaside vista wallpaper, which is one of the wallpapers I used for his home. However, I tested this with another character (Rhonda), but she didn't give me anything. ;-; Maybe you can only do it once a day?

- I had K.K. play me Comrade K.K. -- it is one of my favorite K.K. songs along with K.K. Oasis, which I asked for last Saturday.

- I reached an S Rank and 50,000 points for the HRA. I got a bronze plaque and some Nook Miles as a reward. I usually get pissed at the HRA letters, but since I reached a milestone, I didn't mind getting one this Sunday.

- I got Pascal's photo in the mail, since I designed him a vacation home yesterday. I honestly wasn't aware of how to get non-villager pictures (not posters) until today. ._.

- I got rid of the rest of the level 3 cliff that I had. I also got rid of one of my ponds, since it was right in front of my bridge. I plan to remove some of my level 2 cliff, as a lot of it extends too far out.

- I relocated Miranda's house to the top left of the island. I plan to have all of my villager houses on the top left and right sections of the island, but I moved Rooney's and Miranda's houses first because they were in really weird spots.

I slacked today (well, it's really yesterday as my game is a day behind). The campsite had a visitor that turned out to be Fuchsia. I don't think I've had her ever in New Leaf so she'll be moving into spot #10. I had finished paying off the brick bridge so got a log bridge replacement for one I had in the wrong spot. There are still a few placements of things I'm not completely convinced on yet.

I decided to try to make a smaller snow boy and hit just the right dimensions.

Most of the gifts today were pumpkins. They're so easy and everyone loves them. Pluck three, wrap them, pluck another three, wrap them, etc. I also like to use coconuts as it's easy enough to collect three then wrap.

I skipped out on a trip with Kapp'n. I did remember to see K.K. though and got K.K. Ska.

managed to catch a light meteor shower for the first time last night and got star fragments for the first time this morning! ✨
& caught 4 new bugs for the museum :)

I started kind of late so first ran along the beach to find the bottle. Then I ran to the store and bought wrapping paper then grabbed some pumpkins and stuff for gifts. As I was making my rounds Skye had the thought thing going on so asked her what was up and she had decided it might be a good idea to move but seeing as I haven't got any pictures yet I told her to stay. I handed over her gift of the day and she handed over her photo! I also got Drake's picture today. So now if someone I just have to have comes along to the campsite I have options.

Fuchsia's cute little pink house plopped into existence today and she's unpacking. She's my third Big Sister in this bunch.

Cheri is a hotel visitor today. She's adorable! I'd love for her to move in some day.

I had two days' worth of fossils for Blathers to look at--only needed one for an exhibit so I handed it over along with the picture of Blue Boy and an ant neatly tucked between them. I sold the big fossils for a nice little chunk of change.

Anicotti put out the invite for a home visit. Her song is Neapolitan and I almost asked KK for it the other night but held off.

Went with Kapp'n and picked some flowers, pulled a bunch of weeds, and grabbed wood and minerals.

Made one dive and between all the assorted junk, fossils, and sea loot threw money at the bridge replacing one I put in the wrong place so it'll be done tomorrow.

- I discovered you can have Cyrus change the color of major decorations (like the ones you have to buy at the Nook Stop), so I had him customize my white gazebo into a pink one. I may still have some white gazebos as well, but this is certainly nice to know. ^_^

- I relocated Norma's house. She will be living next to Rooney. No special reason. I just wanted to get her house relocated next.

- I designed a VIP room for Aurora and chose for her the Frozen theme. She is a penguin, after all.

- I designed a vacation house for Stella. I didn't mention this yesterday, but I designed one for Flora last night. I was hoping to have the cute bed and sofa in my HHP catalog by now, since they both wanted pink-themed houses, but no. ;-;

- I put some money towards my incline plot.
