What Did You Accomplish On Your Island Today?

Today I caught a tuna. It was my last critter missing for january! For some reason I missed the fact that I was missing it too, despite staring at the seasonal critter calendar multiple times.

I also placed the Stonehenge that Gulliver gave me somewhere on my island and moved Nook Cranny's closer to the Able Sisters.
Where was the tuna?

I hit 5 stars and was maybe 70-80% “done” with my island, but I realized it wasn’t sparking joy 🥲 I made my beaches inaccessible and felt it was getting cluttered quickly. so this morning I decided to have Resetti put everything away, and now I’m demolishing all my bridges and inclines and moving shops/houses so I can start flat and fresh! wish me luck!

I wish you good luck on that. 😊

I'm glad I didn't have to flatten my island, because I would've gotten bored and never insert the cartridge again lol. 😅

On Avalon -

Invited Mineru to the campsite and built her a wooden chair
Worked on my river
Crafted some items
Cooked some fruit pizza to help with tree removal
Made a space for Mineru’s house
Worked on making some patterns.
Gave medicine to Erik
Payed off my first bridge
Looked for more stone

Nice Job!

Today I invited Cece to the campsite for the first time, and crafted a log round table for her. I also bought a bunch of stuff at the Able Sisters, including a cast that reminded me of my look at Camp Bell Tree 2021...
I removed some flowers and weeds around the island.
I allowed one of my villagers to move away... I don't even remember his name 😭I don't know with the timing if Cece will take his plot or if I'll have the chance to go villager hunting.

• I finally got around to designing the Skyscraper hotel room.
• I gifted Fauna, Lolly, Reneigh, and Dobie some new clothes.
• Dobie came over for a visit and gifted me his photo.
• Bought some clothes I hadn’t purchased yet to help complete my catalog.
• Cleaned up and terraformed a few areas I didn’t like.

• Dug up trees and shrubs so I can plant new ones.

Today I spoke to my villager that I genuinely hate. For some reason, she will not move off my island!! 😭 Anyways, she's been on my island for around 5 years and I haven't spoken to her in 4. Safe to say, I WILL get her moved off my island. (it might include a lot of time traveling but that's whatever.)

I got my island to three stars! = - D

On previous islands, I’ve struggled to get three stars. on my previous island, which I had from July of last year to January 15, I stayed stuck at two stars, even with all the flowers and furniture I placed.

But this time it was a piece of cake

My brother finally got me some oranges last night, the remaining of the fruit I needed, and I planted them.r

I feel like having enough fruit trees of every fruit is the main thing that has helped me get to three stars on my islands. This was also been the case for me during the dawn of this game. ^_^

Island 3- Moonlight is a newer Island and Willow got her first photo from a villager last night. Filbert was the first and than Muffy gave her one.
VIP is unlocked and have a full Gram catalog.

On Avalon

Yesterday
I caught a stringfish
Welcomed Mineru to the island

Today
Donated fossils to the museum
Sold bugs to Flick
Payed off my house loan so I could get another room and more storage.
Aerobics .

• I managed to get 3 pearls today: 2 from Pascal, and 1 I found on the ocean floor.

• Unlocked the rest of the hotel catalog. 😎

• Checked on all my villagers.

• Planted a money tree.

• Added 5000 bells to my donation boxes.

• Sent a letter to my baby sister.

• Gathered some wood and rock materials.

I just reset a while back so today the hotel plopped itself at the pier. I figured out the museum's permanent location and decided tentatively on locations for villager's houses, and ordered and paid for a new incline. I also harvested pumpkins and gave them as gifts. Having moved the campsite yesterday I put all the stuff that goes there back in place. Made the first trek with Kapp'n and smacked a bunch of rocks, dug up all the shrubs and plucked all the flowers to save for crafting.

ETA: Flick was also in town so I fed, er I mean sold, him every bug I found while doing all the other stuff, and gave him three common butterflies for a model.

Today I finally got Mineru to move in to my island. Wendy moved out last night and now Mineru is cleaning her new home. <3 I'm so happy! I think I will also design two hotel rooms today, since I have been taking my sweet time with decorating the hotel rooms. I might also design a vacation house for Kiki, my favourite cat villager.

Today I:
- I used two Labelle tickets at the able sisters
- I welcomed Cece!
- I annoyed Flo a bit because she sent me a letter with a gift and it was a sweet letter so I wanted to remind her she's my friend and I'm clingy
- I considered getting the DLC because I want more ceilings furniture and to decorate homes more...
- I got some items customised to fit my house

Decorated the first hotel room (thankfully they provide at least some catalog) and filled eight of the orders for outgoing shipments.

Tracked down Brewster in a far away land, then nearly gave Blathers a heart attack after that news by donating my newly acquired tarantula. It's probably a good thing he's taking the day off tomorrow for the remodel of adding the Roost.

Said far away land was almost identical to yesterday's so I smacked the rocks and plucked the posies and went ahead and picked the coconuts and pears so as not to run out of food with all the tree moving. Yesterday's burial and hydrating resulted in a Bubbloid (my favorite!) I now have two gyroid fragments hydrating in the cold, wet sand.

Terraforming tools are dangerous things--springs and waterfalls keep popping up out of nowhere. I also outlined a few places paths have to go.

One villager house move order was made and yet another log bridge plan placed and paid for and I still managed to put 70,000 bells into savings. I'm almost halfway saved up for that 548,000 bell mortgage.

One more thing! I also realized Drake isn't my 'forever lazy' villager. I like him okay but he'll have to one day leave Up Falls.

Finally got some progress done completely remodeling my island, gonna put all my crops and fruit trees in one area so I don't run around.

Put a Mario pipe in my house that leads to the plaza! My house is at the opposite end of the island. 😭

Moved 3 villager houses for complete redesign. Would y'all recommend a completely flat island to make a neighborhood, or is multiple houses on different levels okay? Just asking for advice.

Saw one of my starter villagers (Plucky) and a dreamie (Pietro) in my hotel today. I nearly cried seeing Plucky, she was like the big sister I never had. (she's a sisterly personality lol)

That's definitely a YMMV thing. I tend to spread my villagers' houses around the map, maybe two or three sort of together, but that's because out in the real world I'm not a neighbor kinda person--I love elbow room. I do like putting houses on different levels too, like a high forest for certain animals, a swampy place for others, etc.
