From what I've seen they've only said updates for events.. because of tt who they dont consider cheaters... but then after an event happens we can just tt to the past to complete it right?? I mean I hope... the first event was mockingly insane and everyone knew it... why are we so compelled to get every piece of diy.. for a little bunny egg I mean it was kindve like a joke... I honestly dont like the diy: all together.. and they added that so we would spend more time playing after shops close... well I liked crystals and customization but they got rid of Crystal's and added diy....am I right? kindve annoying imo... i don't want to have to waste my time crafting or doing anything I dont find "relaxing".... kindve hypocritical... but anyways I feel like "events" are kindve lack luster considering I think the game is honestly lacking and I know a lot of people agree.. I mean if an events main course is just for diy recipes than that's kindve lame..especially with the amount of storage space were given. they said oh with this map everything u can change and that's not even true... why do they do that.. I've heard the words "infuriating" quite a bit in reviews..

I’m pretty sure you can’t go back to a past event. From what I’ve heard, they are completely taken out of the game once the event is over.

I've Time Traveled back to Bunny Day and the event seemed to be there, didn't interact with Zipper, but it seemed like it was still going.

Interesting. Then it must’ve just been that there’s no event in 2021 to travel to.

Based on the nature of Animal Crossing alone, I doubt that the events would be gone without an update or online connectivity. I'm sure the base game still has standard holidays in it. It's probably just a matter of updating those holiday events with new items or something, so they don't feel repetitive from year to year.

The game hasn't updated since Bunny Day ended so possibly during the next update you can't travel back to the 2020 event.
