What Concerts Are You Going To?

I'm going to see Maroon 5 this August, even though I don't really know any of their songs besides the popular ones.

i've been to a Relient K concert, a Hannah Montana concert (i was in 6th grade, don't judge), and a Jack's Mannequin concert, where Motion City Soundtrack opened! Also Pitbull had a concert at Grad Bash this year though i went on the rides instead of watching the concert.

i haven't been to many, but i hope to go to more!

I've been to: Muse, Rammstein and a B.B. King concert.
I don't have any future ones besides in game K.K Slider every weekend.

I've seen: They Might Be Giants, Mike Doughty, Steely Dan, The Bad Plus, Pilot Blue, Pat Metheny, and a few others.

I have plans to see They Might Be Giants again in August.

I'd love to see everyone I've already seen again, plus Self (Matt Mahaffey), Earth Wind and Fire, and many others.

Last July 19th one of my friends gave me a ticket and told me he couldn't go because he was busy.

Which concert? Paul McCartney and Nirvana (Dave, Krist, Pat) at Seattle.

I was going to the Pearl Jam concert that day, but my friend caught me.
Holy ****, I'm jealous
That was so nice of your friend!

I've been to countless concerts.
August 4th will be my 6th Warped Tour.
In a couple days I'm going to see the GooGoo Dolls.
And I already have my ticket for the October show of A Day to Remember, All Time Low, and Pierce the Veil!

I've been to Jonas Brothers Concert ft Wonder Girls(only went to see WG lol), Wonder Girls concert ft 2PM, JYJ Concert, Jay Park Concert ft AJ Rafael & Blush, Google Korean Music Festival Concert hosted by Google and MBC(this was free :3), Big Bang Concert, B.A.P Concert, Beyonce Concert, Hoodie Allen ft Jhameel Concert. I'm soon going to see Aaron Carter in November :D

I saw Arkells at my Uni in November 2011, I went to Warped Tour on July 5th 2013 and going to see We The Kings, Breathe Carolina and T Mills on Tuesday :D :D

I have been to a ridiculous amount of concerts in my life. I have been to Warped Tour 3 times, so that's that. Other than who I've seen at Warped, these are the concerts I've been to:

Coheed and Cambria (8 times)
Underoath
Saosin
REO Speedwagon
Weird Al Yankovich
Aaron Carter (back in the day)
Backstreet Boys (back in the day)
From First to Last
Fall of Troy

There are more, but I simply can't think of all of them. LOL! ^.^

I have never been to a concert. o: I mean a while ago my friend and I wanted to go see Fall Out Boy but they weren't doing any near us, plus I'm not really "obsessed" with any band/artist now so much that I'd go see them in concert. ;; I mean there's probably a couple I wouldn't mind seeing but they aren't doing concerts. I'm not that fussed though anyway! c:

Post any concerts that you have been to and/or are going to in the near future!
Feel free to share your experiences! You can even post concert photos or videos as well!

1) apr, 14th 2011. my first concert was to see one of my favorite bands called Arcade Fire. i was surprised they even came to las vegas to play, rarely do we ever get popular underground bands. they play orchestrial/baroque/art/indie rock music and it was so amazing that i honestly cried. they're just so energetic and their music is so timeless and transcendental. there are like 8 of them and their just one big family but with hurdy gurdys, guitars, xylophones, synthesizers, and violins! i went to the concert alone and was able to get right up in the front of the venue. i met a lot people in their 20's and 30's, especially a bunch of canadians! we had to wait about an hour to see them so we just talked about canada and radiohead and pancakes. the venue was packed! the crowd was awesome, everyone moved and jumped and danced and sang along to every song. words cannot express how happy i was, it was life changing.

I've gone to classical concerts in my town when I was younger because our principal was a big lover of arts, it was amazing of her to fund such interesting field trips. However, my first "outdoor" concert was Arcade Fire-- when they were playing at Berkeley. I really love the combination of classical instruments done in an alternative way. I later saw the band again at Outside Lands. At Outside Lands, I was able to catch my other favorite band, Beirut.

Yeasayer did a good job performing live-- I saw them at the Filmore, and they were loads of fun.

My favorite concert experience would be the Flaming Lips. Going to their concert is like finding magic from Christmas. (And no, I don't do drugs either). Not only they have some quality sound technicians, but their visual show is wonderful too. Lots of rainbow confetti, balloons, and lights.

The worst live concert I ever gone to was Animal Collective. I think their music works best when produced, or maybe the venue I went to wasn't as great.

I've been to two concerts in my life (excluding orchestra performances) and that would be Streetlight Manifesto and Chicago. Both of which I saw in the year of 2011.

I have several bands I'd love to see live, but I can die happy with those two being the only bands I got to see live. Because Chicago is favorite old band (I would have loved to see them back in the 60s/70s, but I wasn't born yet) and Streetlight Manifesto is my favorite new band.

My next in line would probably be the Eagles, but I don't know that will ever happen.

Wow, people today have such varied tastes! I love all your lists. When I was growing up (and even now), hardly any big names came to Scotland to perform and we would always get missed out.

I have seen (in order if I can get this right!!)
Steps - they did a reunion last year and I felt like I was back at my first concert aged 12 again!
Westlife (as many times as tours they had-almost-I missed one)
Backstreet Boys (come back to Scotland, I only saw them once and have grown up with their music, 20 years ago when they started, I was only 7...)
Kelly Clarkson - massive voice even live, she surprised me!
Take That
Olly Murs
Robbie Williams

I'm sure there must be more though. Some of the support acts I've seen over the years have gone on to do bigger stuff or have since appeared on TV as a regular character in a show, it's nice to see how they've got on since. I'd love to see so many more, some I never will as they are no longer with us though!
For now I shall live with K.K. Slider on a Saturday night, he takes requests--now how often do you get that live, huh??!!

EDIT: Envy-the Eagles, now that would have been good!
