dense fog!! where some patches of your village your mayor can get lost in, like a pitfall (or they just get behind it, like a tree). Or they get the shiver emotion if they walk through it
Wind would be so awesome! I really love seeing movement in the game, (the tide, river, etc.) and i think wind would make it look even more realistic and interesting. Fog would also be really cool!
Oooo fog and mist would be so cool. Would make it so spooky around haloween, permanent fog would be amazing for certain town themes. Can definitely do a Stephen Kings 'Mist' with octopus villagers emerging from the fog.
I like the 'heat' idea. I think it could even have economic effects, like more Villagers visit ice cream shops (it feels like more shops will be possible since so many were in HHD) on hot days. The reverse could also be true, that more Villagers would visit, say ramen shops, on cold days.
I imagined that when there's heat, the villagers would walk around looking tired, like when they are depressed or sick but without the small purple cloud over their heads. Or perhaps some very sensitive would even cry about how much hot is! Or maybe normal females, with their nature and chakra interest, would talk the heat is kinda beautiful because of the mirage impression
I never considered it until coming across this thread but I would absolutely love if an Animal Crossing game included fog. I love fog and it would be nice to see it in this series, especially since one of my towns is horror-themed.
Fog would be really neat and where it would be different each day during a certain time of year relevant to where you live, and so some days it'd be light and you can see pretty well, some days it's hardly any but over the river and lake, and on the beach, and some days it super thick to where you can only see two "spaces" away but you can hear the villagers walking and bug noises that'd be really neat and creepy and it would be awesome to have for creepy dream towns.
