I'm so bad at coming up with greetings and catchphrases I changed Judy's greeting to "Let's go shopping, my dear" because it seems to suit her personality, and I changed her catchphrase to"my homie" because that was how I was pronouncing her original catchphrase "myohmy" haha
I changed Sherb's from "baaaw" to "tiddlywinks" to "I need a nap". Apparently Lobo really liked "I need a nap" because he picked it up super fast. It goes with him so well I don't have the heart to change it.
I also have "splendid" for Leopold, "twinkledust" for Bianca, and I changed Marina's from her default to "stay fresh" to "off the hook", because Splatoon.
I leave my villagers catchphrases as their original ones, but I give them a greeting when they ask.
I might have given Moe the greeting "Hey Cutie" but like, I couldn't think of anything else and it's cute.
Well, um, off the top of my head, I have Sandy greet me with "Two-Factor Authentication". Before that it was "Welcome to the Salty Spit!" Because her house resembles a coffee shop her catchphrases have been different coffee-based drinks like "cappuccino" and "macchiato."
Sprinkle currently greets me with "egguegguegguegguegg" because I was reminded of a certain Google Translate video on Youtube and I've always loved hearing the way Sprinkle says stuff. I gave her "long boi" as a catchphrase once (what a friend of mine calls oarfish lol) and the way she pronounced it... was perfect. I was sent. And then she spread it everywhere and it was fabulous.
I gave Monty "me boye" for a catchphrase for a while and it was hilarious. I'll see if I can remember any more
Bunnie's Greeting is "Comtrya!!!!!!!!"
Ursala's is "Hiyo, poke!"
I tried to give Dobie a catchphrase that was meant just for him, knowing full well that catchphrases are contagious in this game, and surprised pikachu face - now almost all my villagers say "I do declare"
Most of my villagers call me "champ" thanks to Sterling.
Some villagers' catchphrase changed to "m'boy" courtesy of Apollo. Others end it with "hunk" thanks to Rudy.
I changed Punchy's greeting to "Hey! Give me cake!"
Oh hecc now I remember... I made Marina greet me with "Welcome to Chili's". That was a blast. I don't even talk to her enough to remember if that's still what she uses
