What are your hopes for the upcoming Thanksgiving update?

I don't expect anything from this next one besides Harvest Festival and Toy Day stuff. I suspect March is when we'll get our next big non-holiday update, since we also have Festivale in February.

i’m honestly really hoping for the addition of new veggies to grow! a few months back, i was a bit on the fence about that + the possibility of farming being added in but now that i’ve got to experience growing pumpkins, i’m definitely hoping for some new fruits and veggies to grow!

i’d also love if the harvest festival came with some new food furnitures, since we’re definitely lacking in that department c’:

I'm keeping expectations low, but I think more crops is a given. My main hope, that may or may not be somewhat plausible, is the hinted "cooking" mechanic(?) that was found in datamines a while ago with the farming crops. I'm assuming it's just crafting food items, which would be great!

Frank (or whatever his name is,) is coming to the village for some cooking and im predicting he'd ask us to gather some vegetables or ingredients for his recipes that we'd have to grow on our own. ALSO the grape backpack. i keep seeing yutubers and some players have it and i want one so badly too

More vegetables would be nice. Also, Brewster and Gyroids. I'm sure Nintendo is aware that people want Brewster. I don't know why they are holding him back.

Crops would be cool, but since the latest trailer announced the next update for late november, we wont have much time to farm, which is why I think veggies are unlikely at this point.
I dont expect anything else besides the holiday stuff.

I'm really really hoping Franklin adds a ton of food items at least. At this point I don't even care about events, I'm getting super bored since I just want more items to decorate with. I think in Oct. I played for less than 2 weeks since the pumpkins and the pumpkin items kept my interest for like 3 days

I'm hoping we see the new cooking mechanic and start seeing some food items.
It would make sense to introduce them in November

I'd love to see more food/kitchen items and possibly more plants!! (i will always want more plant items) different veggies and crops to grow would be fun, possibly some things like corn or hay themed diy recipes

We know for sure that Franklin will be back. I could imagine getting more harvestable vegetables like potatoes or beans, as well as a similar event as in New Leaf with the cooking. That would give us things like milk and butter as well, so I could imagine getting food items like a bread making set, tea sets or dango.
