what are your hopes for the next update?

I'm honestly just hoping they bring Brewster back, I miss him and the cafe.
I also miss gyroids and hope they come back soon.

I just hope it fixes a lot of bugs..
the villagers loves to teleport (at least mine do), Claude gets stuck watering the same flowers for like a minute, sometimes the villagers just stand around or get 'stuck' when K.K. Slider is visiting.

Also I want to change the appearance of my Town Hall!

This is the only update I’m really pulling for, but I’m not holding my breath. They should definitely let us reallocate some of the EIGHT spots reserved for multiplayer, though, and I don’t think it would be a huge burden to implement— make it optional so those who want ten can stay at ten and those who want to use some of those extra slots for more villagers can do so. Seems literally win-win for everyone

I was never that fussed about the cafe in NL but now I really want it. Mostly to decorate outside it. I know I could do this anyway but I want the building!

At first, I was thinking July would be the next update, but then, I realized that AC switches to "summer" on June 1, which makes it seem like June is more likely for the update.

My "realistic" hopes:
1. Diving
2. 3rd Nook's Cranny upgrade
3. Moving one of the current rotating visitors out of the pool (whether through a separate store or merging into an existing one).
4. Tortimer Island equivalent (Kappn inclusion?)
5. More furniture/clothing added

yes!! diving!! And I think there will be more fruit and/or cooking.

I do think we will eventually get a Kicks, someplace for Label, someplace for Lief...so I think they will add one at a time. Recent update was the museum. I am betting on a garden shop/expansion for Nook's cranny, since it fits the summer theme.

updates I want to see (mostly tweaks)

• let campsite villagers roam the island
• have Isabelle announce who is visiting in her morning message (eg. CJ, Sahara, etc)
• flowers don't get plucked when trying to pick up an item near the flower.
• when you place an item outside, you can lock it into place so you don't accidentally pick up a garden bench when you were just trying to retrieve some fruit
• villagers ask for more requests, including some which don't involve getting them a bug/fish.
• you need to be in designer mode to kick away a custom path
• a fences page in the DIY tabs (when selecting what DIY you want to make)
• stack DIY cards
• put DIY cards in storage
• when a villager tries to give you a card for a DIY you already have, you have the option to decline it
• select multiple items in pocket to put into storage
• buy as many customisation kits as you want, not just a stack of 5 (and the same for shrubs and gift wrap)
• see a preview of wallpaper/flooring in the shop before you buy it
• customise fences
• customise fossils (eg. granite, limestone, etc)

I hope they patch the duping glitch. They apparently rolled out a partial fix with the last update, but it seems that anyone who was doing the duping glitch before the patch hit could continue to do so. I really just am not a fan of the fact that NMT : IGB rates have gone further and further downward. The campsite method is already pushing their worth downward, but what little value NMTs used to have are basically gone because they can be easily duped. Once the duping glitch is patched, hopefully things will start to return to normal.
