What are your favourite things about New Leaf?

What is everyones favourite features/things in new leaf? Personally, i love the changing weather, especially rain or storms, and another thing i love is how you can build friendships with the villagers! <3

i looove the rain (particularly because i can't enough of it) and the freedom and control that you have! like i've had all kinds of differently themed towns and they all work great, and you have so many different things to do and focus on.

also, it's very therapeutic -- when i've had a hard day i can go be with animals who don't heckle me about my grades and fish and catch butterflies to my heart's content!

I adore the rainy days in the game, I wish it would rain everyday in ACNL. For me, I love checking up on each of my villagers and getting whatever they need and also revamping my town.

My favorite things about New Leaf are definitely the addition that you can change the outer look of your house, giving it more of a personal touch, aswell as the new flowers. (lillies and violets) The fact that you can become close buddies with your villagers is also supercute. I play it often before I go to sleep. It's very relaxing, allowing me to fall asleep easily

I like New Leaf because it's a non-competitive, non-violent game which doesn't require playing online with strangers. It also lets me exercise my imagination and creativity (town planning, landscaping, designing clothes and patterns). I can go at my own pace, even start over entirely if I want, to no one else's detriment.

In other words-it's my town, and I'll play how I want to! :3

I love that you have freedom There are no levels, no bosses to defeat to get to the next section... You can just do whatever you want, which makes it the perfect game to relax and curl up with in a nice comfy chair (which is what I usually do most evenings while playing ^_^)

I adore all the weather and atmospheric aspects of the game. Rain, thunderstorms, snow; the moon phases, meteor showers, auroras, the stars, sunrises and sunsets. They are all beautiful. Only cloudy days are my least favorite.

I love the customization features you're offered, from your mayor and your clothes, to your house and your entire town. I've yet to put a lot of effort in those last two, but since the game is one of leisure, I don't feel like I have to hurry to get things done. Sometimes I wish I could live in a place as slow-paced, where you know all your neighbors by name and them you.

The villagers are so cute and it is a very social game. I have met a lot of cool people on this forum!

I like the new head/body proportions for all the characters, looks much nicer and still cartoonish.

The new animals, me becoming mayor, and the PWP becuse now I can actually design my town. I think that's what's best about this game.
