What are your favorite plots?

When your villagers plot, do you prefer them close together? Uniform, like in a line? Do you like them random?

I kinda like an in between. I don't like my villagers right on top of each other, but I also like them somewhat close. The upper half of my town is more shops, and buildings, while the lower half is all villagers for the most part. It's nice. We're all kinda close, but not all overlapping one another. Kinda like a neighborhood! Although Cleo and Marshal live RIGHT next to one another. I like it though, because they're a snooty and smug, and I imagine them being besties!

Yeah, plot resetting is bleh. I wouldn't do it if I hadn't put so much work into my town. I like it too much at this point to let a villager ruin it for me! I like to see houses in straight lines though, when I visit Dream Towns :v

True, plot resetting isn't fun, and I hate it. But so far into my town, and with a layout that I like, it's really hard not to. Also, I'm duh mayor.

I spent a lot of time making my plots neat and in order so now all the villagers I have are permanent, the reseting process is too tedious to do it agian.

ii don't care where they plot as long as they're not ruining anything, like orchards or flower fields. and paths, but i heard the update fixed that issue.

Only with paths. Villagers will still ruin orchards and flower fields if there aren't any designs to prevent it. And it's very tedious because they only need a 3x3 space.

I like the game generated spots, especially now with the update it will be much easier to plan a town without plot reseting.

In Ailuros when I started it happened to have a small section separated by a river, where all the houses were, so I'm trying to keep that!

Random, but with how I laid out my PWPs most villagers plotted in the same areas. Now with them not being able to land on paths, makes it so much easier for them to land in the same spots.

I'm a little OCD, so I like all my villager houses lined up and neat.. but I also hate it when they are all in one area, lol.
I love seeing their houses spread throughout the map

Usually feel I could plan more on the town that way.

I don't plot reset my villagers (too time consuming and confusing for me!), but I prefer it when they group together. I have three groups of villagers houses in my town, which I really like. I'm regretting not plot resetting when Kody moved in, because he plopped himself right below my town hall. Grr....

My town sort of got separated into a living area and a shopping area. It wasn't even on purpose, lol. They're sort of in streets, mostly.

The river divides the town into a northern and a southern half. I have most of my villagers in the southern half, as well as my mayor's house, a space for another player character and the town hall, and in the northern half there are a few houses and one player character, but also my Re-Tail, caf?, campsite and campground access (which ended up next to my campsite, super happy with that!), town plaza and of course my train station and main street access.

Same here. I plot reset very casually to make sure the plot isn't in a horrible place, but they can still go nearly anywhere and I'll be fine with it.

As long as my villagers aren't blocking anything I'm fine with where they are. I have no patience for plot resetting. But my favorite is in mushed they're lined up.

For some reason in my main town 9/10 villagers are in the bottom island of my town. The only villager who has the top island part of my town is Diana. What a princess lol. Never plot resetted for that town.
