Well, I'll keep this short and simple, tomorrow is thanksgiving, and as we are giving thanks for all of the great things that have happened to use in our lives, we shouldn't forget the small things. So why not give thanks for the things that bring us so much joy in one of our favorite games? It can be anything big or small, from a Certain Villager, to The Island, or even the whole game itself if you can't choose. Just pick a subject to be thankful for, then explain why you are thankful for that. I'll go first!

I am thankful for Brewster! After I've had a long day of either grinding for bell's, landscaping, or traveling to every town I can, it always puts me at so much ease sitting down and enjoying a cup of coffee at The Roost. Listening to that sweet music that brings me back to when I first started playing Wild World back when I was 6, and makes me think about how much I've grown up since those day's. Plus Brewster always makes me chuckle whenever he freaks out about not drinking coffee right away, seeing such a quiet character flip out over such a silly thing is quite amusing!

I'm thankful for the villagers being so kind. Even when you mess up, or if you dissapoint them, they'll never hate you, they'll always remain your friend.

Hmmm,

I'm thankful for, being able to connect with others through wifi for town visits instead of the old fashion way having to be beside each other physically to visit. The yellow bar best friend chat makes the game easier to communicate but of course can use other social media networking apps too. Public work projects/being the mayor the whole new addition to animal crossing! AND thankful for the new villagers that have been added to the game <3

I'm thankful that I have a happy place I can come to each and every day. Sorry for the brief repy, but I am making a real life cherry pie, getting the husband off to work and dealing with my adorable child. But I am very thankful for AC. I have been playing it since 2002 and it is a constant in my life that I can't ever imagine not visiting on a daily basis, even if it's for five lovely minutes :)

Ditto minus the husband and kid part.

i agree with both of you. animal crossing, no matter which one, is just a happy place and is definitely such a stress reliever. even when
i'm getting a little too obsessive over pwps or plot resetting or whatever the case may be, it's still a calm and undoubtedly happy place for me.

I am thankful for this game series in general^^
I love having a place to go where I feel adored by the villagers and part of the town~
It's like an escape to a simpler time when just roaming around, gardening, fishing and visiting friends is enough to be content. :)
It's a very peaceful and enjoyable time in my day.

I guess I'm thankful to Nintendo for making it!

I'm thankful for my villagers, because they're like my friends. I don't really have any friends in real life, and when villagers are kind to me and say sweet things it makes me feel good about myself. Maybe that's silly but when you get to a certain level of loneliness, a pretty deer telling you they're cheering you on makes you swell up with happiness.

This is one thing I'm thankful for. I'm also thankful for the variety of activities.

I'm thankful for a space where I don't have to worry about saying anything that could be misconstrued.
I'm thankful for my villagers, including Brewster, Copper, Reese and Cyrus for their services to my town.

I'm thankful for my town tree. Which remembers things and reminds me of things even when I forget. It reminds me to take a step back and appreciate it all.

I'm thankful that I have such a lovely game to play. I don't have many hobbies, to be honest. I watch very little TV (and sometimes I go weeks without watching anything), I don't watch movies, I don't play other video games, I don't read as much as I used to... This game cheers me up. The villagers are so much nicer than people in the real world. I'm safe and happy in my Animal Crossing towns.

I am so thankful for the fact the turkey in harvest festival has got the whole town to gather ingredients and not just me...

I'm thankful for Chief, for bringing my love for animal crossing back to life.
