What are you doing with hybrids you don't plan on using?

Do you have any hybrids you don't plan on using to decorate your island? How many of each are you keeping and where are you putting them? Did you make a special area?

I've already crafted all flower DIYs so I don't need to keep any for that. I considered keeping just 1 or 2 but it'd be a pain to clone them in a hurry... maybe 9 of each?

I’m planning on selling them, or doing a giveaway for extras. I just keep two of each that I don’t have on display, in case I want them. I have a garden themed area so I just put them there. Hope this helps

i have a big flower breeding area on my island thats overflowing right now. i wont end up using most of them so i intend to sell/give them away on here, and any leftovers after that i'll just sell to nooks cranny

i do plan on using some to decorate so ill have those where they need to go, and then probably keep 3-5 of ones i don't use still in the breeding area, or maybe by my house if i need the space

when i finally finish decorating i'll probably just sell/give my hybrids away. me and my friends bred hybrids like crazy for the first few weeks of the game launching -- watering each others flowers daily -- and because i knew i was going to heavily decorate with flowers my town is now absolutely covered and they're getting in the way. it's such a pain to do anything now because everything is covered in flowers that i need to deal with first, not to mention my beaches are basically full too...

After decorating, I’m going to have extra pink hybrids that I plan to giveaway. Those that don’t go will be sold.

My hybrid count now is fairly low as I haven’t been actively breeding. Have more commons scattered for my hidden village areas.

I've got a little garden with one of each hybrid in case I need them/they just look nice. for now all my spare flowers are filling up one of my beaches but once I've finished decorating I'll probably sell them on here and then off to Nooks

I have certain areas where certain (not always necessarily hybrid, but usually) flowers will be going or already are. Orange windflowers around town hall, orange pansies around the Nookling store, blue windflowers around the Able Sisters' shop. I'll be using other certain hybrids around resident houses, which are in a separate area of the island from the businesses. If there are any that don't end up getting put somewhere around the villagers, there's a third section of the island that is more natural and undeveloped where I'll put them.

It's been raining alot on my islands so I got a lot of hybrids and some I won from a giveaway. Its all together in one section and once I finish with the flowers decoration, I plan on doing some giveaway for all of them.

Yep, I feel ya on this one. It takes me like 4-5 times around the island to finish Gulliver because there's basically nowhere for the parts to spawn due to flowers... The actual grass isn't much better either.

Currently cleaning things up, and I also plan on using a lot of flowers, but I don't really like mums and cosmos except for like 1 color each, so trying to decide what to do with the rest (colors from seeds are all getting trashed).

Might decorate all around my water edges along with some weeds to create a kind of river bank, but right now I'm too lazy to do it :v

I usually, put them aside and do a giveaway.
Some of them go really quickly but others (like most orange or blue flowers), end up going to Nooks as there are seldom any takers.

i have one of each type sequestered at the back of my island, although i'd like to do something with it so it at least looks nice (rainbow mushroom marsh? idk). i only plan to decorate with a few colors at the moment, so i don't need them... but i also don't... want to not have them... just in case. i wish u could store the flowers in your inventory. :"(

that "save everything" mentality is the same reason i ended up with 400 spare DIYs at one point. it still pains me every time i chuck one bc it could be of value to someone else. i could just get a hybrid through a trade but i like to just collect and be self-sufficient after a certain point.

I was breeding all kinds of hybrids without planning where am i going to use them later on. I would have given them to others but i dont have online yet, so i guess i am getting rid of them if my brother doesnt want them. Very sad. I made them into a flower field near two of my villagers houses with a river running nearby, and one of them loves going there to sit and relax sometimes which is so sweet, so i am tempted to keep it.

I keep three of each of the ones that don't multiply like weeds laid out as a sort of garden row, everything else I don't need (like when it rains and EVERYTHING breeds everywhere) I toss on the beach then leave with my children to use in their towns because WHERE DID I USED TO PUT ALL THESE FLOWERS BACK IN THE DAY?!?!?! If I had the attention span I'd probably trade with them which was the original plan but I just can't keep on top of that anymore lol

I have all the types of hybrids around a cliff in 3x3 squares and boxed in with transparent designs to prevent further breeding. So if I ever need to breed flowers for some new design, I can move them around to clone them.
