What are some alternative uses for cycle towns?

I'm getting my second copy of NL today. Wanted to know if there are some things a cycling town might be good for that I might be too timid to do in my other town for sake of messing something up with TT or villager friendship status or anything else...do you guys use your second towns for anything in particular?

Hybreeding and shops are the only thing I can think of.

TT'ing to events, gaining interest from ABD balance, etc.

Lets see, i use my town to cycle for villagers, obviously. I also use it for trades. Storage of extra items. Tting to different events. Once i let the town run wild with weeds to do weeding day with friends, collect the weeding set. Basically anything you want to do in order to keep your real town pristine. Its nice to run around, and never have fear of weird streetpass villagers. I really like it!

I'd probably use a cycling town for turnip spike checks, villager cycling, and hybrid breeding.
