the ones where people talk over them or the ones where it's just the game?

i like the talking ones if the speaker isn't annoying or if the video is informative, but the non-talking ones can be quite relaxing

I like the talking ones and when they're enthusiastic about it but I don't particularly like when they read all the dialogue, which pretty much everyone does

the only ACNL videos that I like are thebitblock's Mayor Joshy dream diaries. I watched some and fell asleep (not of boredom)

Some of them are hard for me to watch. They spend too much time in one area and talk way too much. I like watching dream suite videos, but so many of them can be annoying. I don't have the patience for them.

Same they were my fave alongside LinandKo's vids too

Yeah, i tried to start watching like someone's whole playlist but they're too lengthy, and they just talk for talkings sake, it's supposed to be enjoyable lol D:

it really depends what the talking is about. I like ones where they have people talking, but if they've got a boring commentary voice, or what they're talking about is irrelevant and boring then I'd prefer to just watch one without and commentary

chuggaaconroy was the best because his affection for playing "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" drew us in and kept us staying tuned. We felt he sincerely appreciated his town and the villagers who live there. That he enjoyed different aspects of the game.

TheBitBlock, formerly WiiFolderJosh, did wonderful work in alerting us to Dream towns well-worthy of visits. He had a better voice than chuggaaconroy, yes, but his purpose was different.

These two combined the best of both worlds of actively playing the game and actively checking out other people's Dream towns.

I don't watch Animal Crossing videos at all. I prefer browsing blogs for AC content.

Ah, yes, i read jvgsjeff's blogs, he's a very reliable poster

yeah his purpose was different, he only really wanted to showcase the different features for a year, he's not really into the 365 days recording thing

Any really. It depends on the content and what it's about.

I loved chuggaaconroy's new leaf LP. His own personal connection with the game really shines and he made me tear up multiple times throughout. I also loved how it was user-driven, so a lot of his pwps and custom designs were courtesy of his viewers. I watched during the actual run so it was fun shooting ideas and hoping my vote would win or that my design would be shown. Never was. But it was still a lot of fun and I blame him for getting me into it.

I also tend to watch older animal crossing videos to see what I missed. I was watching MadameWario's city folk videos for a bit because it's really cute to hear her gush over the cute villagers. She also did a very touching Michael Jackson tribute.

I have watched a few videos showcasing dream towns. My first was of course Aika Village, which I'm sure most here either saw first or at some point in their dream ventures. But I've seen other really cool towns and I'm a fan of many~

Sometimes I watch videos without talking but it depends on my mood. Sometimes I just kinda wanna watch something peaceful so I'll watch that. But most of the time I prefer chatting because I'm multitasking~
