Weird Stuff Your Pets Do

The title says it all. What weird things do your pets do? My cat likes to play with plastic forks and chase them around, or just knock them around. He also rubs his whiskers on walls when he's hungry, but he looks like he doesn't enjoy it one bit.

um this is going to sound weird to every non-aussie, but my cat has a thing for thongs (ie flip flops haha) he goes crazy biting them and rubbing his face all over them and he just has to be on top of them, its really strange!
And my budgie gets embarrassed when you catch him dancing in his cage hahaa
and my yabbie turns on his back when i come home from being away for a while, not quite sure what it means!

My cat eats elastic bands. We can't leave them lying around at all or she eats them and gets sick.

One of my dogs is obsessed with socks. She'll find one anywhere and bring them to you, hoping you'll play fetch with it. If you put the sock somewhere where she can't reach she will somehow find another one.
My other dog is obsessed with stealing the sock from her. He will grab the sock and run away, not because he wants it, but because he doesn't want the other dog to have it! Very funny to watch them chase each other around the house lol

My cat sometimes gets random spurts of energy and she'll just run around the house like crazy. She'll stop for a second, stare at you, then run away! It's the silliest thing ever. Sometimes she'll just lay out on her belly and roll around, and flip back and forth haha. She's so cute. She also only likes the gravy in fancy feast.

Oh man I have to come back to this later to write a whole book about my cat Schr?dinger's beyond weird attitudes. He's master of weirdness. In the meantime here's a video of one of my late hamsters, Erin. I guess it's more funny than weird, but I find it super odd how she actually back away from the piece of steak after she gets hit. Like "what the heck, I'm outta here". Hamsters are smarter than we think.

- licks blinds.
- licks suede.
- knew how to work the lock on my old door, so had to replace it​

- comes running if she hears She's My Man by the Scissor Sisters
- steals yoghurt
- suckles on people's clothing​

Keiko

- watches television and will paw at the remote if it's not on
- will sit and pat at something (e.g the flap on a cardboard box) repeatedly for 5+ minutes​

my cat sprints from anywhere in the house if she hears the fridge/freezer door open and sits looking up into it

oh yeah and Annie, she sleeps with her blanket in her mouth like this. I don't even know. Kind of paws on it like its a mama blanket or something.

My snake likes to crawl on my glasses while they're on my face LOL. She's little, so she still fits on them. She just likes to climb on stuff.

My dog loves to chase her tail and she's almost 2 years old?? lol and she loves to grab napkins and tissues out of trash cans and run away with them.

She loves socks too.

I have some cats, one of them loves to eat my hair and to scratch into his own tail, the other one likes to lick on plastic bags and to clear out my trash can, he can also open all doors in my house so my father had to upend the door handles. What a scoundrel

My cat likes to run around meowing. And if you run at him while he is doing it he takes off only to come back and get chased again. He especially likes to do this after using his litter box.

our living room has a block of couches and a table in the center, and if you pick our dog up it freaks her out/excites her/winds her up and when you set her down she runs circles around the block, usually 2, sometimes 3. it depends on how wound up she is yk

He also gets badass when you're going on his nerves, sometimes I really get the idea that he could kill xD

Well, once he injured my other cat very bad, I was carrying him to rescue him but he chased him, when I put him down in a closed room I noticed that my stomach, my right leg and my right foot was covered in blood.
I was shocked because I didn't realize that I got hurt but it wasn't me, the cat I was carrying was hurt.
That's why I have to be careful that both of them stay separated ^^'
