Weird Snapchat/Social Media Conversations? (Keep it E for Everyone)

Have you ever had a person on snapchat or social media send something really weird to you? Or has something ever freaked you out on social media personally? I have a couple to get you started myself.

• One time, I got a snapchat from a random guy. My Instagram username is really similar to my snapchat one, so I guessed that's how he figured it out. He said things like "I couldn't resist searching for you! Send me pictures?" I asked him how old he was because he appeared to be way older than me, and he said 25. He kept asking for selfies and I kept declining. After a while of telling me my Instagram pictures were cute and trying to butter me up to give him pictures, he finally asked how old I was. I told him 14 (my actual age) and he replied "Wtf?!? Wrong person sorry bye", so I replied "that's why you shouldn't hit on girls you don't know". He kept replying with "bye" or "oops wrong person" and it was probably the weirdest and funniest thing I've experienced, considering it was the first time a random dude had just snapchatted me out of the blue. :B

• This isn't any kind of conversation or anything, but another time I was on my phone in the middle of the night. I was finishing checking social media, so I went to snapchat to finish watching a few peoples' stories. But the screen starting to static with moving purple and green lines. I moved the phone around to see if it would stop, but it didn't and I completely freaked out. It's never happened since then but I still find it really creepy.

So, what about you? Have you ever experienced anything weird or creepy having to do with social media?

Yeah some random french guy kept messaging me on facebook and wouldn't leave me alone. I had no idea what he was saying and my profile wasn't in French? Lol.

Oh and once this other guy kept sending me friend request, he was around 40 something, solely on the fact that we had the same name. Granted, my name isn't really common and he might of just wanted a friend with his name, but that doesn't make us automatically friends dude.

One time I got pretty bored, so I decided to go on reddit and exchange Snapchat info with random people. I included in the summary that I just wanted to be goofy, make funny faces, and have small talk with a like-minded person like me. A guy PM'd me, we added each other, and then we used Snapchat right away. Things were going smoothly until I randomly got a shirtless picture of him. (Gotta admit... it looked nice.)

Me - Whoa, dude! I seriously thought you understood what I posted. No flirty messages!
Him - Ahaaah sorry, sorry. That was totally an accident.
Me - Nice abs though.
Him - Thanks. Sculpted them myself.

Even today, I still don't know if he truly sent that picture on accident or purpose.
Prooobably on purpose. Who am I kidding?

I met this girl through my friends and I know that she has a thing for me (ngl she's pretty cute too) and I got a snapchat video from her a couple hours ago.

It said: "I don't wanna date him, I just wanna like make out and stay friends. And make out"

Then She blocked my account in hopes that I wouldn't get that message

I get random adds by people who don't post anything on snapchat, but my fave snapchatter is this guy I don't even know who does really awesome drawings over photos, like he takes a photo of something then "paints" over it with the colors, I have no idea who he is or how we started snapping but it's a weird but fun one so I don't get bothered, it's not like he even sends them directly or talks, he just my story's everything...

If you'd like some weirdo goth girl to send you pictures of animals and horrible drawings you can add me on there with the same name I have here!

I did once get some random comment on Instagram when my account was really small...in an entirely different language. My boyfriend and I tried for ages to figure out what they were trying to say, but it just appeared to be a mashup of random languages. We never made any sense of it.

I used to own an ACNL blog, and some random reader looked me up on Skype, and I guessed who he was and asked him how he'd found me. He told me he'd looked me up because my skype name was the same as my Google + one (true). But it creeped me out all the same. I see skype as a private thing for friends and family only, you know?

Wholockian once sent me a message saying I was her CFF - consistent, faithful friend. I thought that was really sweet, until she sent me the Urban Dictionary description with Chocolate Flavored Fail underneath. Now that's what I call myself.

A message from my boyfriend when he had decided to use voice dictation: I love you I need to return Ruthie and almost want to see your a$$. I can't remember what it was meant to say, but I remember replying 'Almost?! ALMOST?!' hahaha.
