Weird plot reset glitch..?

I was doing the plot reset glitch three times..the first time i loaded up the game with a second character...the villager was Eugene..and the second time i did it the villager was Grizzly..and right now as i'm doing it..THE VILLAGER CHANGED TO LIMBERG..is this normal???? o_ O

I think most people know this. It rotates on villagers in a personality group. Occasionslly, it will change. Example - I was getting uchis and down the line after many rese ts, it changed to normals. Weird. But it happens

When you have 8 and the game is giving you a random move-in the villager will change each time you restart. So you can reset for a new villager - but when you get a villager you like you have to accept the house location! But when you adopt a villager or get one through street pass or visiting another town, you will just keep getting the same villager. Then people will plot reset for location. BTW, if you keep reloading a new save file, it will also change whether you are getting a camper or who is in the campsite. So that's another exploit to try

This. Oftentimes the latter part of that post is the case, so I think it's more of a misunderstanding than a glitch.

Like Gracelia said, it's rotates upon personality group.

In-fact, it's an easy way to get Villagers that you really want.

Personally, I don't do it. Because I'm afraid that I'm going to lose another villager from plot resetting (WHY SPRINKLE WHY?!) but it's a good method nonetheless.

Oh, gosh, I think it's even more specific by type of villager when you are getting your starting 8 You should look for some threads here and pay close attention if you have some dreamies you really want! Good Luck!

Has it still been giving you house plots? It happens when you have 8 villagers. Usually 3-5 house plots appear then it stops. From my experience with 5 villagers the game wouldn't stop giving me house plots from uchi, peppy and smugs (mostly uchi and smugs) until I picked a villager. It was extremely annoying but I got 2 of my dreamies this way. Their house plots are not the worst places, but they're just okay decent.

I heard someone recommend getting the first 7 with no smug. Then the game will start throwing smug villagers for the eighth, and there are relatively few of them.... I've not tested it. I had my towns filled long before I heard about this trick, and I haven't seen much discussion about it.

Hopefully one of your dreamies shows up soon. I had to deal with this twice. First when I thought it was a great idea to TT a day foward to start working on getting my approval and second after I adopted Fuchsia. Hopefully you don't have to deal with this.

It actually is. When I had 8 villagers I didn't have a single smug villager and honestly it was way easier this way that by the third house plot I got Marshal.

Congrats! I have yet to obtain him. You can always have someone hold him for you if you're up for cycling 16 villagers.
