are dandelions considered as weeds? because I always hear mixed things about this topic!

I don't think so, the only info I heard about it was that they were no weed

Well that's totally interesting. I guess they aren't really weeds then.
I always thought they were, along with the clover.

I don't think they count, since you can keep them in your inventory (which you can't with regular weeds). Same as four-leaf clovers. If you want to decorate your town with those things but need to get rid of "weeds" for some reason or another and they count after all, you can always keep them in your inventory and them plop them down somewhere again. But I don't think they count.
