Weed pulling badges

Is it even possible to get those badges.

Beginner weed puller (bronze) - pull 500 weeds
Intermediate weed puller (silver) - pull 2,000 weeds
Expert weed puller (gold) - pull 5,000 weeds

Plus only 2-3 weeds popped up each day, so just getting the beginner one would take months.
Any thoughts on this?

I've seen people with them, so it is possible to get them. The fastest way would be to TT for weeds.
I don't have any of them yet.

I've seen threads on other forums where people even hire others to come to their town to pull weeds for them.
That might be the best way to get the badge.

For people who don't time travel, one whole year only gets you about halfway to silver medal. And that's just assuming you find 3 weeds a day.

O: I had no idea it was that many weeds required! And I've got a beautiful town, I haven't seen a weed in ages there!

Atleast we have the grass day holiday to boost us. And hopefully pulling weeds in dreams counts, that could speed this up. - There should just be an island tour for this...

I feel like Im never going to get those badges I thought the Street Pass ones were bad. You need 1000 Street Passes for gold

Do Dream Town weeds count?

I don't think pulling weeds in the dream suite works, because I tried it with Aika Village and pulled over 500 weeds, which is the bronze one. Phineas came today and gave me other badges but not the weed one. :/

I'll try to pull more weeds increase the numbers are wrong or something.
