as someone who always likes to add something at the end of literally every sentence as to not appear cold and offputting, but also hates regular emojis...
we ever gonna get our gyroids back? it might be one of the most pressing issues this site needs fixed right now

but
i would rather shard a cactus than use a regular emoji. and thanks to the fact that ( : now turns into a smiley face I was forced to use one against my will and now wish for the sweet embrace of sharding out a cactus

No but see this is a contributing factor to why they should stay,
We lost our gyroids in the game, I don't want to lose them on the forums too!
