In the Next 'Animal Crossing'…
I have five suggestions:
#01: Map It Out. "Animal Crossing" [next game edition] should allow player flexibility of choosing from entire catalog of maps. The directory will include an indication of towns' native fruit.
#02: Establishing Zoning Regulations. This should be established on Day #01. Mayor would determine zoning for humans' and villagers' houses. The Mayor would also determine zoning for The Roost Cafe and the Police Station. (For a nominal fee, the Mayor can relocate these plus the Town Hall and Re-Tail Shop.)
#03: Mayoral Invites. Also on Day #01, the Mayor gets to invite any four villagers to move into town. They must belong to different Personality categories. They must be two males and two females. (These will be the starting villagers.)
#04: Villagers' Home Upgrades. The first-floor items in the villagers' house will contain (and retain) their original appearance. Items those villager acquire (especially if they're gifts) will trigger upgrading their homes to a second floor. That second floor is where they will keep those additional items.
#05: Faster Public Works Projects. These much-needed PWPs will no longer take so long to access from villagers' suggestions. I don't know how the game would speed it up; but I recommend they find a way.
