Ways You Would Improve New Leaf?

1)More control over where a villager moves without having to use a cheat method.

2)More villagers at least 16 if not 20 would be good.

3)More control over your villager's catchphrase so that they don't walk around with an unfitting one they picked up from another villager if they didn't ask you for a new one first.

4)Having a surefire way to move out villagers so that it wouldn't be such a tedious process.

5)Being able to choose the map you want.I didn't find out that you could get different maps until it was too late.

6)Having the ability to get a job at the beginning to the game with a good verity to choose from.

- Having an advanced way to place things, like a grid showing on the ground instead of having to guess where to stand with Isabelle.
- Having possum, lizard, weasel, and bat villagers.
- A shy personality and a dark, demented personality.
- This one is kinda stupid and immature of me to say but the ability to date other villagers or villagers being able to date o///o
- Being able to place paths/patterns directly in front of buildings.
- Unlimited capacity of PWP's.
- Prevent villagers from having any possible way to put their houses on paths.
- More cute emotions, like being able to hug other villagers/players would be cute and more realistic.

And that's all I could think of at the moment! :D

I saw somewhere that someone suggested Nintendo should add another personality for each gender so one could have a town of all different personality types. Also, the post office sells paper!

-I think the should provide a grid map to you, because for me, planning paths is gonna be extremely hard if I don't have an overview of my town grid-by-grid.
-More house style changes (meaning more than the castle, and other ones.
-Turning the back room into a backyard that you can furniture with outdoor furniture would be SWEET
-MORE DESIGN SPACES OR IF YOU CHANGE THEM IT DOESN'T F*** UP ALL YOUR OTHER DESIGNS
-being able to order things like flowers (doesn't have to be hybrids) or bushes in bulk so we don't have wait for so many bushes!
-Pre-maid texture designs so anyone can make a path. (for example have a brick pattern but you can choose colors.)
-Being able to establish more personal relationships with villagers
-Being able to evict a villager every once in a while

The only thing wrong with some of the improvements is that I feel like Nintendo doesn't want us to have COMPLETE freedom for everything. I think overall, they need to add more features. More places to visit, like the city.

I think one of easiest ones they could do (and very helpful) is to give us a separate place to put our tools. It could jut be a special place like our mail and it could be called the "toolbelt" I don't know. It would be nice.

I think I'm just parroting most opinions but it'd be nice as mayor to actually feel like you're in control of your town. Villagers moving on top of your flowers or paths is a pain, so it'd be nice to be able to designate house plots ahead of time- telling Isabelle these are the only places villagers are allowed to move, for example. It'd also be nice to have more QR path slots, as there are some people who like to make really intricate paths that require all of their slots. More PwP's would also be great, I was thinking seasonal ones could be unlocked too, like for Brewster there might be a patio unlocked for patrons in the summer, or a waterslide and pool.

Also, kind of weird and probably super unnecessary, but little cars? This would require a lot larger of a town but...I don't know, having traffic light PwP's serve absolutely no purpose without some form of vehicle even around. I don't know, just a few thoughts.

This is all I want:
*A working closet in re-tail.
*Different dressers can contain different storage (so.. MORE storage) ex. My FRIDGE and my dresser don't both have the same things.
*A better method of transferring bells to people.

:)

A tool belt

A turnip storage which you get given by Joan after buying so many turnips

A garden extension for your home

Grow vegetables as well as fruit

More flower varieties and colours

The option to pick a town size and that would relate to how many villagers you have ie large town 16, medium 10 and small 6

Get rid of some of the samey villagers for some new ones!

I'd like to be able to stop villagers from moving if they're in boxes, like in WW.

1) More storage space, I had only been playing for about 2 months and I'm already dealing with storage problems. Wish they would
have enough space so you can keep at least one of each item.
2) More villagers, Let's face it, there are a lot of really loveable villagers definitely more than 10. I would like to have more villagers
than 10.
3) Larger Town, with more villagers, we would also need a larger town to house everyone. Aside from that, we would have more space
to put public works projects.
4) Ability to kick out villagers, You are the mayor, you should be able to force villagers to move out like how a country's government is
able to deport a person.
5) ABD and Closet in Re-Tail, Sometimes you score big on turnips. It would be so much easier if you can just get your turnips within
the store and be able to deposit within the store not having to run to the bank or your house.
6) Ability to transfer Bells to another person's account without using Re-Tail, Here in the forums, occasionally there are transactions
amounting to tens of millions. It would make the transaction a lot faster.
7) More unique villager personalities, I just noticed that 2 peppy villagers in my town have more or less the exact same lines. It would
be great if they make it more unique just like how all people are unique.
8) 100% Campsite appearing rate, It would make resetting for a villager much easier.
9) No more sudden move outs, Yesterday, my brother accidentally put Molly into boxes. He was really surprised when he found out. He
had to sell her even though he wanted to keep her. It would make it much better if we were always aware when a villager plans to
move. They should not go into boxes without telling you anything.
10) No 16-villager cycle, This is really annoying when you accidentally lose a villager you like and then you have to wait for 16 villagers
before you can get them again.

All I really want is 1) a way to reset a villager's house back to its default state, because we all know how un-homey a house filled with barbel steeds can look after awhile. And 2) increase the occupation rate of the bloody campsite. Mine has been empty for literal weeks. What is the point of the damn thing if it's always empty?

EDIT: and 3) let me change my eyecolor and my hair color in the same day...MAGICAL.

-more things to grow, like pumpkins or grapes or strawberries, and maybe some other vegetables like squash or cucumbers. Just more things to grow.

-A lot bigger towns.

-More personalities, like the personalities on this list: https://www.personalitypage.com/high-level.html

-bigger towns with more villagers

-more pwps, and bigger ones too. It'd be cool to see a BIG Eiffel Tower that's to scale to your player, and you can take an elevator to go to the top and look around!

-more places to go. Places like a ski lodge that's winter all year round. You can have snowball fights and snowman building contests.

-In the winter the ponds and rivers would freeze so you can go ice skating! The only way you can fish though is going ice fishing with a special fishing pole

-More specices, like walrus, seal, bat, ladybug, lizard, dragon (not just modified villagers like drago), humans that actually live in your town besides the 4 players you can make.

-Fish tanks. Really big fish tanks. You could have a special visitor in your town make a fish tank for you in your house that can be any shape or size.

-vending machines that can actually work if you put bells in them and press certain buttons on your 3ds to get a different thing

-more holidays. Idont care of theyre made up or based off actual events, I just want more things to happen.-

-path pwps. you can lay out paths with isabelle that can be cobblestone, brick, or a customized type.

-bikes that you can ride on.

-more control over where villagers live. apartment complexes would be cool too.

I think that's it... I'll post more if i come up with any.

I just thought of a few more things.

1)Have the ability to do more than one PWP a day. It's kind of dumb that I would have to wait until the next day for something as simple as a do not enter sign to be built.

2)Have the option to choose if you want to work on a holiday or not.If I'm the mayor then why can't I choose what days I would like to work on,my secretary has more control than I do.I can understand if it's a holiday like Christmas or New Years but what's the point of preventing me from working on days like Animal Crossing's equivalent of Earth day?Are you seriously telling me that I can't make progress on the town because Isabelle wanted to give me a globe and standing around in the plaza all day!?

3)A bigger inventory.I've only been playing this game for two weeks and I'm already running out of space to store all of my items.

4)More to do.As fun as NL is there isn't really much to do besides talking to villagers, building the town, going to the island, shopping and working at the cafe.As fun as these things can be it gets a little repetitive really fast.Ad more areas or more events, something to make the game a little more interesting while waiting for big holiday events.

5)More control in general. As a mention before despite being the mayor in this game it feels like Isabelle your secretary has more control over everything than you.The only thing you really have control of is where to build PWP and self customization. The least they could do is give you the ability to choose where villagers move and to evict them so that you don't have worry about a house blocking a spot that you need.

-NO UNORDERABLE ITEMS /PLEASE/ UNLESS THEY ARE OBTAINABLE BY ANYONE THROUGH HARD WORK

Agreed. Unorderable DLC and unorderable regional holiday items are irritating. I have nearly all of them though a lot of trading hard work, but still. :/

The #1 thing I really want though? MORE SPACE. Space has always been an issue in Animal Crossing. NL has so many items, and the many unorderables especially kinda force you to hoard so you'll have it around if you want it.

I think we should have more mini-games off of the island. We have hide and seek I guess Brewster's coffee making counts as a mini-game but either way, there isn't enough. Maybe, there can be a magic fruit tree of your native fruit, and when you shake it, you play a mini-game where you have to catch the fruits falling from the sky in a basket.

-A bigger map, one more the size of the original AC.
-More villagers in your town.
-More pattern slots.
-Separate wallpaper design system, I want to make something that goes from the floor to ceiling like the purchasable wallpapers, not just in tiles.
-Triple layer towns, I miss them so bad from the GC version, they were so awesome!
-More storage space for items.
-More villager dialogue.
-Better space requirements for PWP's. I can't build a bridge anywhere near a villagers house but they can plonk their house right in front of one?

Being able to decide where to plot villager houses (I'm the mother friggin' mayor after all).
Also, villagers who want to move wait for you at your door when you arrive in-game, and they hold the regular moving out conversation. That would save us the trouble of looking for the ping and missing one.

I have tons of ways I would improve the game:

1. Nature projects
- allows you to relocate rocks
- allows you to increase/decrease/eliminate lakes
- allows you to edit river paths
- like PWP you can only do 1 per day and need donations
- The downward paths going to beach can be demolished and built (max 3)

2. More fish/sea creatures/bugs/fossils/art
- tons of great ideas that are not in game + more is always better!
- maybe add a new collectibles
- http://www.belltreeforums.com/showthread.php?163927-What-new-fish-amp-bugs-would-you-like-in-game-(

3. Auto stacking of fruit and coins

4. Separate pocket for tools (like mail is separated)

5. Ability to relocate houses
- Would be random (i think its better than having complete control over there location)
- Would take a few days (day 1. ask to relocate, day 2. pack/new plot, day 3. unpack in new house)

6. A definitive way to assure villagers will move out
- denying there requests, hitting them with stuff, being mean should want to make them move

7. Bigger town map
- bigger space allows for 2 smalls rivers option instead of 1 long one

8. More PWP + make them more interactive + increase max to 50

9. Bigger rooms or more rooms
- so many ideas
- so many sets
- not enough space :(

10. More storage space
- at least (currently 3 sections/6 pages, 3 sections/9 pages would be better)
- Museum and train station stay linked , house cabinets have a separate storage space

11. Another way to unlock the police station
- no longer requested by villagers
- certain conditions must be met (unlocked X, have been mayor for X days, etc)

12. Increase max villagers to 15
- more villagers, more fun!

13. Separate section for regular designs and pro designs
- this ends up giving you more pattern slots in general
- villagers 11-15 can only be obtained via streetpass/campsite

14. More fruits & more trees
- Fruits: Limes (yay for citrus towns lol), starfruit, avocado
- Trees: cactus, acacia

15. Able to redesign retail & the cafe + more redesign options
- Kind of how you can redesign town hall, and the train station
- new options like future & western (should also be applied to home architecture)

16. More ordinances + adjust current ones to make them more useful
- make some un-lockable so you have more goals in game

17. Add new villagers
- instead of new species add more to existing species with few members (lions, rhinos, etc)
- If new specied are addded, make them aquatic (like the octopi!)

18. Police station, campsite, and cafe should be able to be demolished

19. Add "sky set" for balloon presents + more sets in general
- this way they are still worth collecting after competing one set
- maybe more tournament sets also

20. All tools now have silver and gold variations
- Even if it may not be useful its nice that all tools are consistent in haveing silver/gold versions
- Also more stuff to do

21. Island Beach house
- smaller than regular house (fully upgraded main room + second floor)
- can be visited by others via club tortimer

22. Bigger island area
- more land + a lake for island lake fish
- more water + sand bars (randomized for each map for variety)

23. More clothing items!
- Looking more at accessories since QR codes have good clothing patterns

24. Reverse town creation with town map first
- easier as its the main reason why people reset
- have 10 maps to look at instead of 4
- rover mentions each towns native fruit

25. Make KK Slider & Kapp'n playable characters in the new super smash bros
- MAKE IT HAPPEN :O

I've edited this a few times, I think thats everything ._.

- Villagers actually donated more.
- You could choose villager plots.
- Demolish more than one PWP a day.
- Wish they didn't ask you to buy so much crap.

Some ideas Ive had (Hopefuly some of them havent been mentioned here yet?

-Slightly bigger map and being capable of building 50 PWPs instead of 30.
-Slightly bigger beach where you can also build a few beach-specific PWPs (Including a building right nex to the docks for Kapp?n to stay in/do some business at so he doesnt just sit out on his boat and a SPA where you can ask for perma tans for those who want to keep their darker skin and a skin treatment for those who want to do undo their perma-tans)
-Ive always had the theory that Cyrus wont refubrish Gracie?s furniture not because he cant (He is definitively very capable) but because he would get into legal trouble if Gracie was to find out, so maybe after spending a certain ammount of money at Gracie?s shop, she would let you order custom-made furniture with diferent colors, a "Special offer that she only gives to those who have proven they have the artistic vision to deserve the best of the best".
-Maybe a temporary PWP that lets you decide where the next villager will move into? (So you still have to kinda work for it, and of course it wouldnt count as one of your 50 PWPs)
-More species, SPECIALY insects and sea creatures! For insects I could see butterflies and bees, for sea creatures I could see normal fishes and sharks.
-Automatic stacking.
-Letting you have "flower boquets" that let you stack 9 of the same flower and can be displayed as boquets at your house!
-Diferent inventory place for tools.
-A "vacation" option that lets you go on a hiatus without losing a villager or having them get mad at you. (Like, weeds and stuff like that would still grow if you dont have Beautiful Town, but once you came back villagers would be like "Did you enjoy your time off? How was it? Did you bring me something?" instead of "HOW DARE YOU LEAVE US, WE WHERE SO WORRIED"). You would have to pay for it of course.
-Bridges not needing SO MUCH space to be built
-Just being a bit more lenient with PWP placement.
-A little "residential area" around where you can visit all your favorite NPCs when they are not working at their shops and stuff! Maybe even get their pictures if you befriend them well enough?
-An assistant for Isabelle so she gets to have some free time, seriously as much as I love having Isabelle available all the time THE GIRL NEEDS TO REST EVERY NOW AND THEN D:
-And that assisstant could have a brother who helps Digby with HRA so he gets some free time too?
-Relocating rocks those are such a pain.
-Having Isabelle keep tabs on who is planning to move (Explanation being that the villagers go to her so she knows that there is a chance their house has to be demolished) so you can save them in time.
-Customizable bottoms.
-Having the ability to rotate PWPs
-Racoons and Foxes please! Officialy The Nooks and Redd are "Tanukis" and a "Kitsune" so Im sure they could just make different models for the actual villagers that look more normal.
-Make it so that you can walk trough bushes if you push enough (with a special animation that shows the villager struggling to move around and shaking leaves when he finishes) so the limit of how many bushes can be put next to each other is eliminated.
-Give Celeste her old job back!
-Some kind of "fruit stand" that lets you turn fruits into hand held smoothies/juices. (Depending on what it is that you give the shopkeeper)
-Letting you display all the handheld items in your house as something other that a boring brown bags.
-Having the same ammount of room on house second floors with the same layout. (And you could only build the second floor rooms once that room exists in the first floor. Like, you can only build the room on the left on the second floor once the room on the left of the first floor has been completely expanded. Finaly I could make an acurate representation of my actual house!
-Bring back spirits in any shape, way or form!
-Scarves and backpacks
