Was your first campsite visitor a smug villager?

My first campsite visitor was Beardo.

He's since left my island, but I was so displeased when I found him camping. Tbh I think it was punishment for resetting.

Aww, I like Beardo He has a magnificent moustache!

And there's no shame in resetting if you're not happy with your island!

I'm just joking, to be honest. Beardo does have a great mustache, but I super don't like his belly fluff.
Also his smug high-pitched voice was so weird to hear from such a large bear.

mine was tex - a smug. i didn't know it was possible to get something that wasn't smug. maybe those who got a diff personality already had a smug? who knows.

My sister says the saaaame thing! He's her favorite, and it's not weird for him. I think it suits villagers that are teeny and cute like Raymond and Marshal, and even Jacques - Beardo just needed the cranky voice honestly.

I got Zell who is a smug, but i hear this is a bug that makes you get non smug villagers as your first camper. There was a thread that was made when the game first came out and everyone would say who their first camper was, there were people like you who had this happen to them.

Actually yeah, I got Klaus, the creepy Roman emperor lookin' bear dude who I still kind of hate but who keeps giving me really good DIYs and presents so I haven't quite been able to boot yet ugh. This thread is super interesting!

Now that I think about it, yeah! Lionel was my forced camper. He’s definitely an acquired taste and I’m not sure he’ll be around forever, but he’s alright

the 6 starters villagers seem always to be Jock, Uchi, Lazy, Peppy, Normal and Smug ( 2 starters, 3 random and 1 campsite ) i guess.
